tl;dr version: For the price, the quality and service here is definitely not worth it. Came here twice and after both experiences I feel comfortable saying I would never come back here. The first service was a pedicure with regular polish. My big toenail on one foot was cut completely crooked, and the polish chipped within 24 hours. Still, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so today I came back with appointments scheduled for both my parents and I. My mom and I were scheduled to start at the same time with manicures first followed by pedicures for which my dad was scheduled to join. When we arrived, I was told that they’d be starting with one manicure first. I was a bit confused and put off by this, but I didn’t say anything as I can understand a delay by a few minutes here and there. About 10 minutes into my manicure, someone came over to me and asked if we could move to the pedicure chairs and get both services done at the same time “because they had people coming in.” I declined as I specifically scheduled the appointments so that we could get our services at the same time (my dad hadn’t arrived yet), and I questioned what the point of making appointments was if we were going to have our timing changed due to other people, which I think is a valid question. To try and accommodate, though, I had my dad come in as soon as he was able, but instead of moving us to have us all get our treatments together, he ended up getting 90% of his service done while we were still getting our manicures done (at completely separate tables). So much for making appointments to have the experience together, I guess. Now on to the actual quality of the services. For whatever reason, a new tech came over to resume my manicure after the above exchange. They did the entire service and failed to put the color I had selected that was sitting on the table of the station on. I can’t understand how this mixup occurred, as that info should have been passed along between the techs AND the color was sitting in front of them the entire time (they even picked it up and looked at it at one point). So as my pedicure started, instead of being able to relax, I had to have my gel manicure shoddily removed and redone in a rush. As a result, it didn’t turn out great. Now, only a couple hours after leaving the salon, the matte topcoat that I had to pay extra for is already peeling, making my nails look horrible on top of the poor paint job and cuticle care. My pedicure was marginally better, but once again I was left with crooked toenails. Now for the biggest red flag, something I wish I would’ve known before ever coming here — this salon is related to JennPaintt down the street. Not sure if it’s the same owner, a franchise location, or what, but after several bad experiences at JennPaintt both with quality and some incredibly shady & frankly unhinged business practices, I vowed to never go there again. Now that I’ve realized the connection, my bad experiences here make a lot more sense. I highly encourage you to take your money elsewhere.

News you can use before visiting... I loved my nails at Lamay both times🤩💅🏾💜🥰😻 (yup that much). Sight critique, on my second full set of extended nails, the nails were a bit sharp and jagged. The nail tech did not catch that and when I pointed it out she promptly fixed it. The only issue was the nails were already done and when she filed them my nails became transparent on the ends making the chrome polish that was an extra $20 for my hands were was worn down and made the nails overall finish lackluster 😔 cutting my wearing time down by 1 week. Foam slippers are provided for free. Solid slippers are for sale. 100s+nail colors are available. Come earlier if you want to grow them to pick out a style BEFORE checking in. Otherwise They will "rush" you to pick a color and start your appointment on time. Parking $1 to $4 after validation, if you stay over an hour to get your nails done intrically. Parking is not FREE even with validation and with being there less than 6 minutes in hopes of getting a walk in appointment. The staff was talented and friendly with the services. Both receptionist when I visited on 2 separate occasions to Lamay were very professional and kind. The Vietnamese hard seltzers(equipment to a High noon) that they give you complimentary are tasty. But Understand that you do not get an entire can and they are poured inro a small clear plastic cup filled with 75% ice. Basically, it's 2 to 3 sips.befor it is gone. For over $200+ spent on hand painted nails I expected the entire be beverage If they propose that you go to their other salon Jenn Paint Nail Lounge, a 5 minute walk away when they have no openings, DON'T DO IT! I repeat ... DO NOT GO TO JENN PAINTT NAIL LOUNGE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. I tried it and left with trauma after an unprofessional, angry nail tech left chemicals on my toe nails after gel polish removal. For 10 hours my toes burned, even after washing with soap at home.😭🤬 The tech was upset because I didn't want a full pedicure and manicure and initially refused service until she was convinced 15 minutes later to do the service I ordered. Read the entire Google Review on the Jenn Paintt Nail Lounge page please. Although Both receptionist when I visited on 2 separate occasions to Lamay were very professional and kind. However, the female staff at the Jenn Paint Nail Lounge was very abuse, demeaning, degrading, and mean to the Latina receptionist at that location. Cruelty is never acceptable, get a different profession before someone else gets hurt further by chemicals and secondary trauma, please!! Take care and I hope this review helps you have courage. The first three times I went I had a great experience but I booked a 5:45 p.m. appointment and no one could see me for about 20 minutes afterwards. I didn't get the nail tech I requested, they said she is running late and extra 20 minutes so I wouldn't have been able to start until almost 6:30. So I agreed to have someone else but he wasn't very helpful when choosing a color. I wanted a gel pedicure with French tip that looked exactly the same to the ones I currently had on my toes that were out grown. When the service started with the cleaning he was really heavy handed and I kept asking multiple times for him to be more gentle. And when he laid the base color on it didn't look right and the lines for the French tip were straight not curved and uneven. So I was really upset and I told him I didn't like the color and he became very upset and said I chose the color and was blaming me for how it looked. So I asked if he could just remove the gel all together and they agreed but he seemed really upset and then put the nail trimmer pack on my toe as he's taking the polish off and I could tell he was more upset and just not as caring about the service at all. So I asked him to just stop entirely and I left. They charged me for a gel removal and pedicure and I won't be back. They charge a lot of money and I am totally okay with paying for it when the service matches the expectations. It's supposed to be a luxury nail spa and that wasn't the experience I was hoping for and I needed this pedicure for my wedding in a couple days and they look horrible and I am beyond furious. If they look busy, it's best to just go another day even if you have an all appointment. A nail tech should never be angry with you for speaking up about not liking something early on, especially when you ask nicely and when they charge as...
