Moving is stressful period. Moving back to LA from another country is next level. However, Fred took very good care of me from start to finish. From our very first 45 minute conversation, he was professional and really took the time to answer ALL my questions. After 2 weeks of apartment searching remotely, I had it. I circled back around to Studio House and Fred. He worked diligently to go far above what he was called. That day I was ready to make a decision, he was the only agent working that day for all 3 of their buildings. He took the time to tell me specifically about the 5 units that were available including the views, the locations of where they were on the floor, and the space and layout. He then went to the actual unit I narrowed down, took videos, text them to me, then called me after to discuss. We lastly went over all the fees--he even went as far as telling me the estimate of the utilities I can expect to pay per month. His customer service, the amenities, location, and the lifestyle Studio House offers made it such an easy decision! The application process was also simple and the approval was quick. Thank you Fred and the whole staff for being so diligent to always follow up in a timely manner and being so thorough making my transition back to the US something I can check off the never-ending list of "To Do's" Thank you very much. I'm excited to start this...

5:45am on a Sunday we're getting knocks on the door. It's scaring the person who resides here and the knocking goes away. After 2 minutes of the person knocking on doors, they came back to ours and knocked again. The girl went to look and it it was the "management" this was the most absurd, disrespectful, and unprofessional thing I've ever seen "security/management" do in a building. I don't understand how they could even feel comfortable doing this.
Anyways, it was just a noise complaint that they decided to knock on numerous random doors to investigate. This was this morning. It's my opinion that this place is a joke. By the way, you should buy me lunch or something or get this girl flowers....
Read moreThe price is deceitfully high. I pay almost $500 a month on utilities which include a $150 common room maintenance, even though the bathrooms are constantly covered in human feces, $80 in gas and water bills for a 150 sqft apartment and a $50 mandatory maintenance fee. The units also use key fobs without a way to open the door once closed without them, so if you forgot your keys at any point, you will have to wait nearly an hour for a security to allow you back in and they will charge you $100. There is no access code to the building so mail is never consistently delivered. The laundry room is infested with cockroaches. The downstairs restaurant constantly blast music throughout the weekends. This building is poorly maintained, overpriced and predatory towards students in particular. Do not rent from this building, and the property managers withhold information during tours...
