The 'Bacon Cheeseburger ' with fries was pretty good. The three star rating comes from the fact that I got a cheeseburger even though I have cheeseburgers(haha). It didn't matter in the moment because I planned on pouring peanut butter on the burger, the cashier told me that they no longer offered peanut butter which made me sad. Without the peanut butter on my cheeseburger, that lead to the 3 star rating. The fries on the other hand was very good! I never go for crinkle fries, but Shake Shack made them so good! The crunch and seasoning was on point and I loved every second of the fries. I would definitely come back and instead get a chicken sandwich instead of a bacon cheeseburger.

4/5 stars
After my cousins and I went on a shopping spree, we came to the closest food place near us. I'm the only vegan among us, so right as we're crossing the street (but still looking both ways) I'm googling 'Shake Shack vegan', haha, and they have a veggie burger! a.k.a The Veggie Shack. I could have gotten the lettuce wrap, but never tried it before, so I was being pessimistic that the wrap would leave me unsatisfied, so I stayed with the bun that has dairy. I never tried a gluten-free bun either, and I wasn't looking to experiment. We were all madd hungry, so I stuck to what I know.
I can only speak on my food and I was surprised. The patty is made of black beans, brown rice, and roasted beets which all tasted really good. It's something I would get again. The bun was sogggyy tho, haha. Falling apart and getting all mushy. Maybe it was the butter that they use to toast the buns. The avocado being warm was a real pleasure. Usually avocado slices are always cold, throwing off the temperature of the burger as a whole, but warm avocado on a burger is where it's at!
Fries are crinkled and something I ate up. Not hellllaa seasoned, but still seasoned enough for it to be very tasty. I saved the rest of my fries for home and ate them with my mustard sauce from Wingstop.
I really appreciate the portion size. Just right to leave you full and content. It reminds me of this old place called 'Rock House Sliders', may they R.I.P.
I usually always drink water when ordering out, but I tried their Piña Punch and it wasn't bad. I'm not a fan of lemonade, but it's something different. I'm not mad at it. Sweet and refreshing for the heat my city plagues me with.
But, yes. Pretty good veggie meal and I enjoyed everything...
Read moreI came here mostly because in the Shake Shack app, they offered to give me a FREE hamburger if you spend at least $10. Since everything is pretty pricey already and one hamburger is almost $10, you should always be able to reach that spending limit no matter what you order. I'm surprised most people don't use the coupon codes offered in the app to get some free items. Please do yourself a favor and download it so you can get basically a free entre on top of what you would already order.
I got a Shack burger, the free avocado bacon burger (using the promo code on the app at the time of this review), and cheese fries. The total for all three was ~$15 after taxes and promo code, which I think is a good deal. I came in just before 12 PM, so it was relatively empty. My order came in about 5 minutes. Staff were very friendly and professional. It wasn't hectic yet, so maybe that was why, but I am sure the staff were prepping for a busy lunch once it reached 12 PM. The bathrooms have lock codes on them and there is no outside sink just for hand washing. There is a filtered water system and dispense ketchup for public use. The place was clean and quiet before the 12 PM rush hour.
Summary: CLEANLINESS. The inside of the restaurant was clean. There weren't too many people when I came in, so it didn't look crowded or overwhelming. COSTS. $ Affordable. ~$15 if you use promo codes on the Shake shack app. CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff was quick, friendly, and professional. FOOD QUALITY. Way better than McDonalds and other generic fast food chains. FOOD QUANTITY. Decent portion size. Even better if you get another free hamburger. WAIT TIME. Five minutes to order two hamburgers and...
Read moreIngrid is a disgruntled employee. She screamed at me. This prompted a female security officer to proceed to stand up and go directly behind me with her hand on her mace. She continued this aggressive behavior until I left. I spoke with the manager while in the store and explained I have come in here many times, I have never disrespected the staff here, and have always enjoyed coming here. Imagine asking someone to speak to you with respect, because you feel the tone and way you are being talked to is disrespectful. So you politely ask to be spoken to more respectfully. And the response is being screamed at. After this encounter I will not be coming back here. Mind you I used to eat here every couple days! I always pay cash, and I’ve never had an issue. I was refused my receipt upon request and even offered to pay extra to correct my order. The manager corrected the issue but made to sure to downplay the issue and act like I was out of line. Both managers put the blame on the stress of working downtown. When I returned for a refund the other manager gave me my refund. He said “I rounded up your change, I know you need it” In a tone I perceived as condescending. As if to insulate I was poor and was making up an excuse for a refund. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from the female security, the employee, and the manager. Do better shake shack, hire professional security and a new manager who has humanity left in them. I’ve seen how he interacts with the homeless,...
