Firstly, I would like to say Thank You (to God, this church, the pastor and the bible study members). I found this church when I was living in Brickell a few years ago. At that time in my life, I hadn't been to a church since I was a teenager.....over 35 years ago, but because I was struggling with something I decided to find a church. I was raised Roman Catholic, but for some reason I gravitated to FMPC. I just bought my first bible and wanted to learn how to read and understand it. Pastor Chris and other church elders led the bible study classes and I was able to ask many questions that were bothering me. I really appreciated Pastor Chris's approachable, relatable personality and the overall delivery of his sermon/messages. It made me understand there was a value to attending a church vs worshiping alone.
I moved back to downtown Toronto, Canada (btw it's 8 degrees F today) shortly after joining FMPC, but haven't been able to find the same level of comfort in a church. Today, I was looking up what "type" of church FMPC was so I could try and find it here. I came across the videos of the sermons and just watched the one on Peace in our Hearts in a Q&A format. I have decided to continue to attend FMPC virtually from my living room in TO!!! Please consider video taping the Bible Study classes or making them interactive...at least until the sun starts to shine again and I'm not afraid to go outside and find a local bible study class...
