4 Stars – Tacos, Tunes, and a Side of Confusion BajoTaco at The Country Music Hall of Fame is a solid spot for a quick bite and a margarita (or two… or whatever, I’m not counting). The service is impressively fast—almost like they knew I was coming. But let’s talk about the entrance. Walking in feels less like stepping into a restaurant and more like sneaking in through the employee breakroom. There’s no host, no server—just you, a counter, and a decision to make. Want a drink? Order it yourself. Want food? Order it yourself. Want emotional support? Well, that’s on you too. That said, the margs were good, the tacos hit the spot, and I did eventually figure out where to sit without looking too lost. Would I come back? Absolutely. But next time, I’m walking in with confidence like I belong there.

Disappointed experience. Apparently be very, very clear when placing orders. I placed an order, thought I had stressed enough how I wanted it, but it was still disregarded. Salsa was a disappointment and Quesadilla's leave a lot to be desired with their sauce. Apparently when ordering a plain chicken quesadilla with sour cream you should expect the sour cream on the side and onions and jalapeños sauce in the quesadilla. And not even a good sauce at that. Would not recommend them. I can only hope it was a bad day for the kitchen and other days will be improved. Food aside, server was polite and attentive initially. But once you place your food order you never see them again. Sadly, it wasn't even busy. There was no excuse for the lack of customer service.

Stopped here while working for an event on the road. Tacos are somehow both dry and oil soaked. Shells are bland and flavorless. Diced onion and a sprinkle of cilantro are basically the entirety of the tacos. Come with about 2 oz of meat. If they are feeling generous as portion size was inconsistent at best. Frankly, save your money. At $5-$6 each, this is not what anyone should be getting. The entire crew that got an order is disappointed and will be telling others to go somewhere else. One high point was the service, which was top notch. If the food was even in the same ballpark, it'd be amazing.

This place is good for a quick drink and food but the staff is very unpleasant. I ordered at both the bar side and food side, and the only person that smiled and was pleasant was the woman who delivered our food. I stood at the food computer for several minutes while 2 girls just stared back at me. I was waiting for them thinking maybe they were finishing something up (even though they were just standing there) before I finally asked if I could order and one of the girls sent me back to the bar side to order (where that girl then looked annoyed I was ordering food from her). I would not return. If you’re looking for a taco place, go to Bartaco. I’ve been several times and the staff is beyond friendly each time and the food has always been good...
