Bravo! Fantastico! Incredibile!
Lello Barbiere is an overall experience. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by genuine and sincere people. The music is calming, transporting you back in time. The atmosphere is like a barbershop in Italy, rustic but also modern. Immediately, you’ll be asked if you’d like water, coffee, or spirits.
After getting a haircut in Italy, I didn’t want to get a haircut anywhere else. I had to find an authentic Italian barbershop in New York, and was so fortunate to find Barbiere — it was #1 recommended online. I’ve been getting my haircut with Lello for 5+ years, and plan to do so for as long as possible. He is focused, takes pride in his work, and always makes sure you like your haircut before leaving. One of the best and most kind people you’ll ever meet.
Barbiere is truly a hidden gem, tucked within the energetic lower-east side Manhattan. I’ve had many barbers in my life, but none as wonderful or professional as Lello. Trust the reviews, he’s one of the best out there. Strongly encouraged, highly...

Read moreI bought Lapin a gift certificate to this barbershop for haircut, shave and a face treatment. When we made the appointment, there was a bit of miscommunication as they didn't have enough time to do all three services in one go. Lapin liked the haircut Sophia gave but felt a bit rushed. She also didn't wash his hair. It's the first place we ever went too, that didn't do a wash. He did like the shave and face treatment. The only thing he didn't like about the face treatment was that the clay mask made his face feel tight afterwards. We usually apply a toner or lotion after doing a mask and we ended up going to Sephora to buy some facial lotion for him. They also serve Bourbon, Whiskey, Ice Tea, Coffee and tap water to enjoy. It was an nice experience but it was a bit pricey and felt...
