Avoid Life Storage at 622 West 51st Street at all costs. While the building is new and the storage rooms are good, the management's practices are far from satisfactory or acceptable. They initially advertised a closing time of 9:00 PM, but in reality, they start pressuring customers to leave as early as 8:00 PM. Recently, they've even changed their closing time to 8:00 PM and begin harassing customers as early as 7:00 PM.

This inconsistency and lack of consideration for customers' time and convenience create an incredibly stressful experience. I once tried to leave at 7:50 PM only to find the elevators closed, leaving me stranded for 15 minutes. Such behavior is unacceptable. They tried to scare me, making me believe that I wouldn't be able to leave the premises until the next day.

Furthermore, after the initial 6-month period, they increase the price every other month. The internet or telephone do not work inside the building.
