We recently brought one of our artists to perform at Loft 51 for an event booked through an outside promoter. What should have been a successful night quickly turned into a disaster due to the venue's unprofessional and hostile behavior. One of our artists briefly stepped out and was denied reentry due to a supposed dress code violation—something that was never previously addressed. When our team attempted to resolve the issue, Loft 51 staff escalated the situation by refusing entry to our entire team, including the scheduled performer.
The most disturbing part? After a heated exchange, the club owner was visibly seen reaching for a weapon. That kind of behavior is not just unprofessional—it’s dangerous.
Also, fair warning: the patio area reeks of raw sewage. Completely unacceptable for any venue, let alone one claiming to host elite events.
We do not recommend this venue to artists, promoters, or anyone looking for a safe and respectful...
Read moreLoft 51 is hands down one of the most unprofessional and chaotic venues we’ve dealt with. Bellamy Bellamy Entertainment brought one of our artists down to perform at an event booked through a third-party promoter. Everything was smooth until one of our artists stepped outside briefly—only to be denied reentry over a supposed dress code violation. Mind you, this wasn’t communicated beforehand.
When our team attempted to clear things up, the venue doubled down—denying entry to the entire team, including the scheduled performer. That alone was bad enough. But what happened next? The club owner, instead of de-escalating, reached for his gun. Yes, a firearm. That’s not nightlife—that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.
And to top it off? Don’t bother stepping onto the patio unless you enjoy the stench of raw sewage.
Avoid this place at all costs. Loft 51 is a liability and a disgrace to the NYC...
Read moreHeard of this club through a friend, and tried to buy tickets online but tier 1 was sold out so I opted for the more expensive tier 2. When my group arrived there was almost no line however we had to wait because they let too many people inside, way more than they sold tickets for. My friends inside were uncomfortable and said there was almost no room to move around and were overheating. After an hour of waiting I was still denied entrance even after about 100 people left. Didn't matter that I had bought tickets beforehand, they wanted to maximize profits from people that didn't buy tickets and screw over those that did. Staff was very hostile and only cared about the amount of people inside AFTER someone had called the police. Would never recommend this...
