LIC finally has an excellent spa!!! I recently tried the 45 min hydra-facial treatment at the newly opened Mana skin, and it was fantastic!

The spa has an easy to find street-facing entrance and a modern spacious reception area. The certified equipment used during my 45 min hydra facial session assured me I was in for a high-quality experience. Staff was very friendly, highly skilled and knowledgeable. I've heard that the HydraFacial is the go-to treatment for celebrities before shoots or events. It is one of the most powerful non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments available today. The 45 min treatment I did combined cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection that removed dead skin cells and impurities, while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums into the skin. The place is nice but the service is awful.

I called to make an appointment for a deep tissue massage, the receptionist could have easily told me that they had no female massage therapist available. Red flag number 1. She let me know once I was in the room at the spa. She also called me at the exact time my appointment was at to see if I was actually going to come. I was already on the same block about to arrive.

THE NEGATIVE the massage therapist (male) was insanely rough. He never asked me the level intensity I wanted. I have had several massages in my life and this is a common question. His technique was sloppy and unprofessional. I would understand if this was a hole in the wall spa in Chinatown but it’s not. the price certainly was certainly on the LIC range of pricing.

They also charged me $30 for OIL!

I do not recommend this...

It's not a particularly great or bad experience, but it's definitely overpriced for what you get.

Pros: The staff is friendly and accommodating Good location, easy to get to Space is clean and tidy Massage that came with facial was great
