While the manicure ended up looking fine in the end, the process of getting my nails done might have been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I have been getting my nails done with dip powder for 8 years. I had a few tips on some nails and asked for it to be taken off and replaced due to the fact that the previous tips I had were no longer secure and the color I wanted was slightly different. She insisted on trying to fill my nails before urging me to do gel which I declined multiple times. I asked for an oval shape and I had to check every single nail that she filed for both length and shape instead of her comparing the lengths on her own and seeing that they were very visibly crooked. At that rate it would have been quicker for me to file them myself. One of the tips was put on completely crooked and when I mentioned it to her she insisted that my nail bed itself was crooked despite me pointing out that she placed the tip on my skin which made it crooked. In the process of trying to shape my nails she used an efile on my natural nail leaving my nail even thinner than it was and when she pressed down I could see my nail bending. This whole process took 2.5 hours when the most it has even taken in my 8 years has been an hour and 15 minutes and that’s when the designs are even more complicated. So unless you wanna spend hours getting your nails done for a task that should take no more than an hour and a half maximum don’t go here. Save your money and go...

This is the TRULY the BEST nail place I have been to in all the cities I live in. I have been to so many different places in US to get a gel manicure and this is the place where they last the longest (6-8 weeks!) which is incredible. This is because the ladies at Opal are so meticulous and detail-oriented and do the best job. The gel manicure is more affordable than other places in the city (~$33 with cash). And the people are amazing, they are so nice and friendly. They do a great job of seeing you without having to wait too long. I cannot recommend this place enough.
