Buckle up; this is going to be a long one, but a good one about under-eye fillers. In January 2022, I researched a well-known dermatologist in NYC to try under-eye fillers for the first time. After watching the patient's youtube videos, reading articles, and watching said dermatologist on several television programs, I booked my appointment and, unfortunately, had a terrible experience that jaded my view on injectables. While swelling and bruising are normal, I looked like I got in a ring with a young Mike Tyson in his prime. When I called the office to talk to someone, I was told to email pictures and that there was no need for a two-week in-person follow-up, as I was "healing fine, and the doctor is busy and can possibly squeeze you in for a virtual appointment" Huh? No follow-up; how can you honestly assess my face without touching it? Though my bruising and swelling healed, I was never pleased with the outcome, as I believe I needed more under my left eye. So I decided not to go back and swore off injectables.

Enter Sisu Clinic

Once the new year rolled around, I decided to love myself more and not give up on feeling and looking my best just because one provider didn't provide. I did some more research and came across another Youtube video that got my attention. After doing my Googles, I discovered Sisu Flatiron was within walking distance from my job. I walked over and met my new favorite people Laceynnn and Wedlyne. Wedlyne greeted me warmly and put me in LaceyAnn's hands for an on-the-spot consultation. Laceyann made me feel comfortable and safe with her knowledge, bedside manner, and all-around palpable energy. I scheduled my appointment two weeks after my consult when I returned from vacation, but to my surprise and delight, a Springtime Glo-Tox event was planned at the SoHo location the day after my initial appointment. Wedlyne rescheduled me for the event, and I'm so glad she did.

Before entering the Soho location, I received a courtesy call from Alvin, who I immediately loved! Then, Camilla kindly greeted me at the door and walked me over to all the goodies and the rest of the previously mentioned staff. Champagne with edible glitter, discounts raffles (I won 15% off), Sephora facial...yes, please! My girl, Laceyann, hooked me up! Not only is she gentle, but she also makes the entire experience fun! I barely felt more than a pinch with each injection, and I immediately saw a difference under my eyes. Let me finally get to the best part...it is only four days later, and other than the two mini needle entry point dots, I did not swell or bruise, and no one, not even my husband, knew I had anything done at all. I love my subtle, not easily noticeable results and look forward to my two-week follow-up with Laceyann. This staff is the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff I've met in a while, which is a treat in NYC. Did I also mention the pricing is beyond fair? Give this entire...

Stay away for this unprofessional scam place!!! I will never go back to this place again !!! After advertising a special deal for Botox, I went and I did my first treatment and paid that special price close to $500. I honestly tried this place because is just about 2 blocks away from my appartment. Then they asked me to go back for a retouch , and they told me it was supposed to be part of the first treatment, meaning no charge with the original injector , so I went back after 3 weeks and I did my retouch and I got charged again! They basically lied to me about that. The second girl told me it would going to last 4 months because of my full frozen facial treatments , again I did it twice!!!!! Today I went to talk to them , and the original injector was there , it has been not more then 2 months since my last retouch, because I have lines back on my forehead. This girl answer was that it only last 3 months, which I told her is not what her other colleague told me when I went there for the second time and got charged again. Forgot to mentioned that the first time I went they told me that the retouch would be free she parry of the first treatment. So they basically lied to my face. Her response was just “Sorry but it’s not true!!! What??? Is It not true???So your colleague ( which I can provide the full name) basically lied to my face ?? Her answer was just again “ I’m sorry’. The best part is that they rescheduled me to go back in a week from now to do the Botox again , without mentioning that I will be charge the full amount again. Basically within 3 months I have to pay about $1300 for just a forehead that doesn’t even work and it only last 2 months. Are you kidding me!!! All of my friends ( and we are all working in the Fashion Industry ) go to other places in Manhattan where they all know what they are doing, and how to talk the their customers other then just sorry . The BEST PART is that at the end they will pay much less for a much better results with a real professionals people doing this kind of treatment. This place is a total scam!!!!

My experience at SiSu could not have gone better. From how comfortable both Leen and Emily made me feel upon check-in/consult to actual procedure. Leen was amazing upon check-in to then have been met by the warm welcome that was from Emily. Having gone originally to address just one area of concern, quickly upon speaking with Emily I found myself vocalizing other insecurities that I immediately felt not only comfortable but confident in allowing her to execute. Never would I have thought that having facial injections would be such an actual, FUN, experience. While Emily was insanely knowledgeable, anatomically scientific, and professional in her art that is facial sculpting, she was also friendly and truly a pleasure to work with. It was as if you were being treated by a true friend…So much so that my initial concern which triggered my first appointment led me to allowing and trusting her to address other areas which I had put off for years. Emily’s knowledge which was clearly met by her professional skill led me to requesting not just one but two other treatments in the same visit. I cannot be more pleased with the results. She was not just explanatory about each procedure, but she had done so with such light heartedness that any uncertainty was immediately relieved. The results, which will only further improve as my face adjusts, were night and day noticeable already looking amazing. Emily treated my under eyes, jawline, and full 3 zones with dysport. I’m pleased and excited for my already booked follow up’s which Leen was so kind and efficient in setting for me. Allow me to state that this is fully an unsponsored and honest review of their service. I not only recommend but look forward to further treatments with them both. 10/10...
