This is the second time I am creating this post. My last one has been removed.
I purchased a franchi momentum elite on 8/8 the add pictured below said that rifle included addition accessories “features” of a muzzle brake, one piece pic. Rail (color matching and detachable Magazine.
Made the purchase, upon opening the box once home realized I did not have my additional accessories. I called back up to the store the next day, the team member did everything they could to find the parts. I could hear the manager in the background discussing the situation with him. When the employee couldn’t find the parts I was told by the manager I’d have to call Franchi that they could not and would not provide the parts nor give any additional discount on the rifle, “this is not our issue” is what was told to me.
I called over to franchi and was told that sportsman’s warehouse had a contract with them to purchase the rifles without those parts to be able to run an exclusive discounted price. That I should have been informed of this at the counter.
I was not informed at the counter nor did the add online like stated above mention anything about the rifle not coming with those parts. If I would have been told I would have purchased else where and spent the additional money to get the model of rifle I thought I was purchasing there.
I posted a review the same day. FAST FORWARD to today-
Went back in to purchase and additional gun- I saw on the shelf the same rifle I purchased the week before but with the additional features. I talked with the manager in the firearms dept. he proceeded to tell me that I was informed incorrectly they do not have a contract with Frenchi. That I didn’t purchase the momentum elite because it would have come with the parts if I had. And if I did purchased the the right model as I said I did it would be Franchi’s responsibility to send the parts. He was rude and quite frankly combative.
I asked to speak to the gm. Zach, was incredibly friendly and understanding and genuinely wanted to help my situation and earn my business. I showed him the old add ran on 8/8 and pulled up the new add online today and they had changed the add to omit the additional features. Zach asked me to send him all the info and he would personally take this to his district manager and get a solution for me. If I would have talked to him originally I probably would have made an additional purchase.

Read moreThose review is SOLELY for Darlene one of the Managers. The store is excellent and all customer service before this and since have been stellar, as it should be. I received 7 items from the store website yesterday and today. Two of the items I came into the store, with the intention of returning and purchasing upwards of $500 worth of other items. There was an older gentleman employee, alone at the checkout counters.
As I was informing him why I was there, he cut me off, noticing a decal on one of the items. He said "that's clearance we can't take that." I responded with " well I purchase it online and it didn't say it was on clearance, so how is that my problem?" I then showed him the order from the website and he simply called a manager.
The manager, Darlene, seemed pretty perturbed as she walked up to us. Before I could explain anything, she was still walking behind the other sales associate and looking at the item with the clearance decal. So typically as we all know a manager responds to either calm a situation and/or use her or his store level authority to make exceptions for things that are not the fault of the customer. Darlene missed that day in Management Training, along with professionalism. Darlene insisted that I was not allowed to return one of the items. I again showed where it was not marked as clearance and that it was even the wrong color. She angrily pointed at the other associate and yelled, "this one time, this time we will do it!!" I asked her why was she losing her bearing, she was not doing me a favor, I was not in the wrong, the website was. She then yelled that I was talking over her. Keep in mind, this is the Manager. She then stormed off saying I'm not taking anything now. I called the Corporate Office to file a report which they gladly took, along with the compensatory apology. I am to receive a follow up. I then placed my items back and still bought what I planned. Darlene needs so much more training and she needs it...
Read moreabsolutely horrible customer service from this company i called the store to verify stock before ordering a sale item online since i couldn't get there before they close as i was at work until after 8pm ordered the item after calling and speaking to someone in the gun department and saying item is on the shelf and he has his hand on it to go ahead and order online and i could pick up Friday . well Friday i get a email saying they cant find the item and just shows delayed in my order tracking called 3 times to the store today to no answer so called customer service and was told the order was canceled but still shows delayed on my side and i would have to wait 7-10 days for my money back i told them that was not acceptable and asked if there is a similar item in stock the is available and if they could match the price it was when it was on sale and was told that another caliber is available but they cant discount guns so since its not on sale id be responsible for the remainder i don't think this is a fair business practice to have they got my money the moment i ordered the product after the website and a person in store verifying it was in stock. all i wanted was my item or a similar item for the price i have already paid but was told no and now the will have my money held up for 2 weeks since the order date and they have 0 care for that i will inform anyone i can not to shop at this retailer and the company i work for just purchased 10000 acres for a company hunting club and was about to spend $1000 at this store for stands and other items to get set up but i will take our business to...
