Sand and Stitch — Local services in Ocean City

I had a great experience here. I was looking for shirts. They had a ton of dresses, shirts, and shorts to choose from. The employees greeted me as soon as they saw me and offered assistance. I browsed a bit, was offered a dressing room right away. After I tried on a few things, I asked for some help with styles and was treated to the employee dropping everything to help me. I ended up getting one shirt(I'm picky as heck) and I thought the price was very reasonable at about $35. The fabrics seemed to be of a good quality. They weren't super busy so my experience might have been different if they had been. No other store on the boardwalk had clothing like what I was looking for and I tried them all. Sizes seemed true and they had up to XL, I think. I wear a L and they had just about every shirt in my size. Wish I needed a dress for the event or more time as I would have loved to try some of them on. Mix of beachy and out on the town clothes....

A great boutique experience— good customer service, got a fitting room for me, all that good stuff! I really like their items and stocked up on some vacation dresses. They do not issue refunds for damaged clothes, so like all places on the boardwalk just inspect your clothes for stains/ damages before buying, but this wasn’t a problem at all. Very overpriced with terrible customer service. Purchased dress for $56 only to find the exact same dress just down the boardwalk at “Beach It” for $46. Slightly annoyed I returned to “Sand and Stitch” to see if anything could be done. Not only did they have an attitude, they also refused to price match or accept the return.
