My husband and I first walked into Safian & Rudolph six years ago. We were looking for my potential engagement ring and after spending the entire day walking through jewelers row, we walked into Safian & Rudolph and just knew this was going to be the place for us!
At the time, we had a limited budget and we couldn't not budge. The salesperson we dealt with assured us he would find us the most incredible diamond engagement ring in our budget and we would be completely satisfied! After an hour or two of reviewing settings and diamonds, we found just the perfect combination. A few months later we were engaged and that ring looked even more perfect than we could ever imagined!
When we were ready to purchase our wedding bands, we went back and again were treated with the best experience!
A couple years later, my husband surprised me with a visit to the store to upgrade the diamond in my ring and again, we were provided with the best options with the specific budget we had in mind! Ring came back even more beautiful than before!
A few months ago, we once again went back, this time my husband was looking to find a new wedding band and Rich walked him through every possible option with patience and willingness to answer all of our questions. Although we only went in for my husband, we found a new setting for my diamond and replaced my original engagement setting. Just yesterday we went to pick up the finish product and all we could say was WOW! Both of our rings are amazing and were more than we could ever have imagined!
I honestly don't know why folks would go to a mall jeweler when there is a family owned jeweler like Safian & Rudolph who literally treats you like family when you go in. My husband and I will never go anywhere else. We are so appreciative to Rich and his entire team for giving us 100% satisfaction every single time we walk through their doors.
Thank you so...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed with my experience at Safian and Rudolph. Less than six months after my engagement, the diamond—along with the entire setting and hidden halo—inexplicably fell off my ring. I have photographic proof that the ring was intact just an hour before this happened! I didn’t bump into anything that could have caused this, yet it fell off without warning. Earlier in the week, one of the tiny diamonds on the band had also fallen off, which I initially brushed off, thinking it was just a fragile stone that could be easily replaced. But when the main diamond, setting, and halo all fell off, I realized there was something seriously wrong with the craftsmanship.
When my husband and I reached out to Safian and Rudolph to address this issue, we were met with an appalling lack of responsibility. Instead of acknowledging the problem, they blamed me for the damage. I wore the ring for barely five months and took excellent care of it. A diamond (valued at about 7k, no less!!) and ring of this caliber should not just fall apart like this.
Additionally, when my fiancé initially scheduled to pick up the ring, it wasn’t ready as promised. They assured him it would be ready in two days, but then suddenly, it was “miraculously” finished later that same day. I can’t help but suspect that the poor craftsmanship and rushed work may have contributed to this disaster.
Overall, I am extremely upset and surprised by how poorly Safian and Rudolph handled this situation. I expected much better quality and service, especially for something as important as an engagement ring. I would caution others to think twice before trusting them with such...

So I was looking for engagement rings and went into their store. Its very outdated looking and just presents its self poorly. The person who was helping me was great and helped me find the ring I wanted. I asked to take a picture of it, to show my family and see what they thought. They refused and was told its against policy. This was the only jewelry store that told me this, and I went to about 12 stores. I was given a card with the ring identification number so they can find it later. So I was quoted $3800 and went home to research. Went onto the website and found the ring, with a picture of it (I wasn't allowed to take a picture?). The exact ring was listed at $2800 and free shipping. So they were making an additional $1000 off of me! I went back to confront the salesperson and I was told some BS story about how they have to have lower prices online to be competitive. I left and decided to move on. I then went across the street and went to Barsky Jewelers and found an even better ring. I was so impressed with Barsky that I spent $4200 on an amazing and better quality ring. My fiancee loves it and...
