Church Administration Building — Local services in Salt Lake City

The Church Administration Building (CAB) is an administrative office building in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States serving as the headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), the fourth-largest Christian denomination in the United States.

Completed in 1917, the building is adjacent to Temple Square, between the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and the Lion House, on South Temple Drive.

It differs from the Church Office Building in that it is much smaller and furnishes offices for the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

It also houses offices for other general authorities and their personal staff.

Only church officials and their guests are permitted to enter.

Dear Sir, We live at 413 Swain Dr. Danville, Va. My home is located directly behind your Morman Church that is on North Main in Danville, Va. There are a multiple of very large and tall trees bordering your property that are in dangerous position. We have ask the minister at this location to do something about the trees because they are in a hazardous position to my home and some of the neighbors. You have had one tree that was rotten inside fall in my neighbors yard and almost got his home. Please have this matter looked into. Because if a bad storm comes up and we do get them, we are afraid those trees will fall on my home. I have to commend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the great truth they’ve shown in how this building is labeled. They could have marked it with the church’s own category, or as a generic church, or even as a non-profit. But now, it’s marked as a “corporate office”, which shows more truth than I think they intended to, because it seems like the real purpose of the church now is to hoard great riches.
