TL:DR: The unbridled courage demonstrated by a particular employee at this location is the sole reason it is getting 5-stars from me.
We went to this location to pick up an online order for my wife’s first LV. That little detail is vital because I would not give this location (or any in San Antonio for that matter) 5 stars as no one offered to help us call corporate and ask for a specific color combo that was actually not out of stock online. Apparently, this is a common error for the online store inventory system and store employees have the ability to call corporate to make a request for their clients... something none of all three locations—which we visited in person—elected to do.
Regardless, this particular store gets 5 stars from me because of the simple action taken by one man. As we came in to pick up the purse, he opened the door for us, welcomed us, and pointed us in the direction of the hand sanitizer which he jovially remarked was a necessary precaution for browsing their stores due to COVID-19. He then politely asked us to wait for an available advisor, and silently stood there awaiting more customers.
What truly set this gentleman apart was his willingness to stand up for a fan of LV and the candor with which he did.
As he inevitably overheard my conversation with my wife, he must have clued in on me suggesting that my wife get a Zippy wallet as “it’s only $(don’t remember the amount).” My comment was meant to be light as my frugal wife was riddled with guilt for getting an LV in the first place and was adamant about only getting the purse at the time. I, of course, wanted to get her more (she’s amazing!).
The gentleman by the door quickly spun around, looked at me, and asked if I had an issue with her shopping in the store.
Now think about that for a moment
Read moreHello im writing this review as I recently went to this location at 15900 La Cantera Pkwy San Antonio, Tx 78256. My husband took me to this location to get my very first ever Louis Vuitton for mother's day. Well we had the worst experience we never could have imagined. The associate that was supposed to be professional was giving us a ugly look when he said hello, he never asked if it was our first time, or a returning customer so we just let him know what we were there for. We explained it was our 1st time in the store and that Louis Vuitton was going to be my 1st as well. The associate then turned his back to my husband and I and started walking towards the back of the store, my husband and I looked at each other like are we to follow him? We proceeded to follow him and when we got to a display case in the back side he took a bag out to show me, it was a beautiful bag. However it wasn't quite what i was looking for. i then continued to ask the associate if they had a small crossbody or backpack style purse. The associate was so rude and unprofessional with the ugly look and rolling his eyes at my husband and I. I told my husband lets go we don't need to be treated this way. we told the sales associate thank you for your time but we will keep looking. the sales associate again rolled his eyes and mumbled, to where we could hear him, "whatever". Never have we felt so uncomfortable and been so disrespected and basically treated like a nobody. Never again will we go to this location. My husband and I then headed to Gucci next door (also my 1st) where we were welcomed immediately greeted with smiles and kindness. The Gucci associate was more than expected and went above and beyond for us unlike at Louis Vuitton. We had such a great experience at Gucci where we not only i got my first purse but also a matching wallet. To Louis Vuitton your employee caused a major sale and we took our money and business to your competition where we had an amazing experience and will return to Gucci . Might want to hire employees who treat all customers with respect, kindness and listen...
Read moreMy husband and I came to this location with our 6 month old baby boy and this has got to be the worst experience we have had at a Louis Vuitton. For a high end luxury store, you would expect to feel welcomed and greeted with a friendly atmosphere. Instead, we felt very uncomfortable. Just like any other store, when my husband and I shop, we split up. He was roaming around to the men's side to look around and the sales associate said he wasn't allowed to do that and that we had to stick together as in we had to literally be next to each other. I found this rather odd as everyone was wearing a mask, being safe and there were only 4 other customers in the store. And as I was roaming through the store, the sales associate said that I wasn't allowed to do that and if I wanted to look at something she could escort me there. I even said to her, " wow, you guys are very strict here." and her response was, " yes we are." It just basically made me feel like, if you aren't going to buy anything, they weren't going to give you the time of day and that you can leave the store because you are wasting their time. The sales associate wasn't very personable or as friendly until she knew for sure I was going to make a purchase. Another thing my husband complained about was the front door guard being rude and had a staring problem. I realize that the safety of your staff and clients is a priority, but atleast let them feel welcomed and comfortable in the store. Its a high end luxery store so treat your clients with respect and class. The outlet Gucci store in San Marcos treats you better then this place. I will not be returning to this location. It was my first and last time.
Please use this review as constructive criticism-you will lose clients and business from these types of negative...
