This is the best exercise program I have experienced. I typically get fit through bicycling, hiking, yoga and occasionally working out with weights in the gym. Very individualized activities. I thought I was much stronger than I discovered by working out here. At Barre, one is challenged to build up core muscles and upper body through small movements, light weight, and following rapid instructions from an instructor. This training is something that many guys lack, but many women are familiar with through group exercise and dance instruction. We men are missing out! I am over 60, but I feel more fit through this method than I have ever felt. It has helped reduce other issues that crop up with age and sitting at a desk for long periods. I felt so good walking out of class and can honestly say that it was one of the best barre classes I've ever had (I've had many!!). Not only does Kiley have great attention to form (I appreciated all the hands-on adjustments), but her Barre+ classes also mix in the perfect amount of cardio intervals to get your heart pumping.
