I want to share my experience stumbling into the Jonathan Adler brick and mortar shop in San Francisco. The colorful decor just totally caught our eye as we were walking down Fillmore and we had to step inside. This is a new brand for me, and my overall first impressions were that the pieces were too maximalist, almost too kitschy, but we spent some time browsing around. The store associates were really nice and were happy to chat with us about the products.
Later that night, I found a beautiful piece from the Menagerie collection on discount that was sold out on the website. I called the SF store to find out if they had any in the store but they were out. They checked and found some in stock in another city and suggested we give them a call. The people at the other store were so kind in sending us the product via UPS and it just arrived today and we are over the moon. Although we agreed that seeing all the colorful, whimsical pieces together in one showroom is a bit much, when you take one or two out of that environment and put it into your own interior style they really make beautiful and complementary additions to a room. And I found the prices to be really reasonable, especially when they're on sale. I am super satisfied with the customer service experience at Jonathan Adler and can't wait to style...

The delivery person was very rude when I asked for a later time in the day saying I am driving 1.5 hours in from the South Bay (“you say like you coming in from Redondo beach”), now they call and say their truck has broken and they have a smaller truck so my larger delivery will be pushed out to next week. It’s been quite frustrating and I am not even sure of how the quality of delivery will be looking at all the other reviews.
