Candy Tyme — Local services in Seattle

I’ve been coming to Candy Time almost every day over the past few days to buy some candy, and I’ve always had a great experience—until today.

There was a staff member today (seemed to be Latino) handing out samples to other customers. She went up to everyone around me, offering them a taste, but when she got to me, she just said “excuse me” and asked me to move out of the way—completely skipped me. After handing out samples to everyone else, she passed by me again and once more just asked me to step aside. Not a single word about the samples.

I still bought some candy and left, but honestly, I felt really uncomfortable and disrespected. The Black and White staff I’ve interacted with before have always been friendly and treated everyone equally. This was the first time I felt like I was being treated differently—possibly because I’m Asian? I truly hope that’s not the reason, but that’s how it felt.

I won’t be coming back, and I hope other Asian customers don’t have to go through...

2 stars deducted for the ridiculously high price of 15$ a pound that's more than crab and top choice cut steaks for crying out loud, I would've honestly rated it only one star but I had to give 3 stars to the lovely blonde lady employee, she was really nice and made a great impression for the stores customer service, she was attentative and helpful through my entire purchase which consisted of weighing multiple items many times over as I added more candy weight to the bags cause they charge everything by pound and although monotonous she never gave a hint of annoyance or attitude like we all know many bad employees do at the slightest inquiry that forces them to actually do there job, yet she remained genuine and sincerely helpful and friendly all the while in a very soft spoken and pleasant manner that made my...

I recently visited Candy Tyme shop with my two young kids and had a delightful experience. The shop offers a wide variety of candies that cater to all tastes, making it a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. What stood out during our visit was the warm gesture of one of the staff members who kindly offered us a sample to try, which made our visit even more special.

The service at Candy Tyme shop was excellent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially towards families with children. The reasonable pricing was also a plus, allowing us to enjoy our treats without breaking the bank.
