Arica from Yummy Fixins was amazing from beginning to end! My brother and I were hosting my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary vow renewal dinner at a private house in Lake Tahoe that we were renting for a week. Not being from the area I Googled and contacted several private chefs in the area. Arica was definitely the most responsive and accommodating. We had 11 guests and she was able to make a custom menu to accommodate everyone's preferences and she even went above and beyond in order to make a kids meal for my picky kiddos. And they raved about their food! As did the rest of the table. We were talking about the meal for several days following. And the service was amazing! We were about 30 minutes from her area and she even called on her way to see if we needed anything from in town before they came up. Her and her sous chef were super sweet and among getting everything ready for the meal they had wine poured and were serving us as soon as the ceremony ended, which was an extra unexpected surprise! And even refilled during dinner. They had everything all taken care of in the kitchen, as far as finding the right dishes, washing extras if we needed them throughout, and even put the salad bowls in the freezer to chill before hand. We were lucky to have Arica cater our weekend getaway in South Lake Tahoe with 15 girlfriends recently. She was easy to contact months prior leading up to this trip and making suggestions of what we would enjoy. Arica was so helpful in curating a menu to satisfy everyone's needs throughout the weekend...from the tasty brunch menu for our boat day to our formal dinner at our rental home. Her team was also so friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. We all said we will gladly use her again next time we're in town. We are so grateful for her - she made our weekend so memorable! We hired Yummy Fixins for a work retreat and these ladies were PHENOMENAL! Not only did they cook absolutely amazing food but they were so sweet and so helpful! All of us were raving about the entire experience the entire retreat! The food was so fresh and delicious! They served a four course meal and none of us could stop eating!
