My husband and I went in this past weekend to do some mother's day shopping. When we walked in we were greeted and asked did we need help. We said no thank you amd proceeded in the store. About being in the store a couple minutes we were approached again asking did we need help finding something...again we said no we were just looking. So my husband and I moved to the card aisle and started looking at cards and about 2 mins later...here comes another lady pretending to shift cards around asking do we need help with anything. Long story short my experience was not pleasant because i feel like we were being racially profiled. My husband and I are black we have tattoos but we were dressed in jeans and shirts. I then asked if they could just type in the number on the gift card and was again rudely told “no.” Which is not true because the first time I used the card there the cashier had a hard time with the card reader and had to type in the number. I will not be spending another dime in this store and I will not recommend it to anyone I know. The customer service was...
Read moreI went to the Hallmark store in the Woodlands Mall where I was told my gift card had expired or was invalid. I had just used the card at another store so I knew it was valid. Asked the manager if they could use their scanner because that’s what they had to do at the other store. Told me “no”. The card was not valid. Gee-was just trying to use the card so I could get rid of it. Going to let my sister know this is NOT a good birthday present. ...
