I have been suffering with some major skin concerns (increased break outs, redness, oily skin). I had a long discussion with Leyla about my concerns at the beginning of my appointment. She explained to me all my options and her thought process. We ended up doing dermaplaning with red light facial, something I previously would’ve not been interested in. I was nervous to try something new, but now days after the treatment, she was so right and on point with her recommendations! My skin is completely recovered and looks better than ever! I’m not going to wear makeup to work today for the first time in ever which prompted me to write this. She was a pleasure to speak with, so friendly, she wasn’t pushy about buying products or up-selling me with other services. We went through my skin care routine and she made some recommendations, and it may be just placebo effect, but I think it is helping a lot too. It was such a great experience. I can’t wait for my next appointment! Facility is pretty, clean, and organized. Plenty of street parking out front. I also needed to change this appointment multiple times which was accommodated no problem over the phone....

I love facials but it’s sometimes hard to find the time to get one. The 30 minute express facial ($60) solves that problem. I still got an extraction and a facial message and left with glowy skin (not a humblebrag). Mingyu was my esthetician and he was everything you could ask for - very knowledgeable, patient, and had a very soothing voice/hands. He explained each step of the process and answered all of my questions.

There is a bathroom available in the back. Note that if you do the 30 min facial, you’ll be in the main room, but you get a private room if you get a longer facial. I visited Dermalogica for my first ever facial recently. I was welcomed by a very friendly Simone, one of the skin therapists at Derma. I was taken immediately as it was 6pm in the evening. We went to the back where you lie down on the chair and get your skin assessed. As it was my first facial, Simone was very patient with me and explained everything we were doing. We started with a cleansing. After that she used a light to assess the areas of my skins which needed special attention. At the end you get a nice face mask with hot steam blowing in your face and finished off with a nice warm towel to clean off any excess product.
