Just… okay. Booked the Ultimate Date Night Experience; the tickets and reservation are separate, so they make you email them to schedule your dinner. Except they have two different emails listed on their site, and even when you email them, they just make the reservation through Resy (which I could’ve done myself instead of waiting a week and a half for a response).
Then, once we were there, everyone else was just as clueless. Had to tell our waiter we actually had a pre-fixe menu because again, the reservation and movie are separate, and then it felt like he didn’t want to check on us because everything was paid for so he might not get tipped. We made sure to order something extra so we could still tip though!
Finally, on the movie side, it was just lackluster. They weren’t prepared with blankets and even told us they might not have any (I prepaid for them as part of the ticket mind you) and finally produced them half an hour later. Then they were out of 90% of their candies (again, the ticket included two boxes) and they only had m&ms and sour patch kids. Had to ask for the champagne to be brought to us and they said “Oh, you didn’t already get that?” And no popcorn— silly thing not to have at a movie IMO.
The music from their bar can be heard (and felt) even with the headphones on. It’s a nice gimmicky place but just not worth the $250 for the date night experience. Get regular tickets and adjust expectations...
Read moreIts not bad. My experience wasn't the best.
I purchased the VIP - Dinner + Movie. This included dinner before the movie downstairs. Maybe I didnt read it well enough or follow the instructions but I didnt see that it was for before the movie and had figured that it was to be served food during the movie. Luckily Brian the manager was able to help with that. For everyone's future reference book a reservation on a 3rd party site for the dinner.
The movie screen was good and view was even better. What wasnt great was that everyone could move their bean bags back and forth how they pleased and it being my first time I just figured it wasnt a lot of leg room for everyone. IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THAT. Make sure you got leg room in front and have management fix it if not. The lack of control of this is terrible.
The movie is also right next to a club so when your watching Titanic and here Rose telling Jack that she won't let go, you also hear Dua Lipa singing "one kiss is all it takes..." Even with the headphones on and all the way up. It wasnt that bad but you could hear it.
Other than that the food was good and sound was good. Minor bugs in the bluetooth headphones but an OK experience. I would recommend Street Food Cinema or Rooftop Cinema...
Read moreThis is a review for the roller rink. I have not been to the theater. Save your money for an actual roller rink! I went to this yesterday with my girlfriend for a special date and we had a pretty bad experience. This is not a real roller rink. You are skating on some plastic tiles that are pretty hard to skate on and coming apart so you get stuck when you roller over and trip. It is also about 1/8 the size of a normal rink and super crowder with people. You can skate for hours at most rinks in the $20 price range, but here it is a 1 hour window and they make you wait outside well past the time your book for a really slow check-in process. We left after my GF was shoved to the ground by another skater. Not intentionally but it was so packed people were just crowding each other. We left after 2 laps and just wasted $80+ dollars. Do yourself a favor and go to a real skating rink. I will not be going back. 2 stars only because it did have a nice view. That was the only plus...
