Honestly, wish I did not stop in this place. You walk in and the guy behind the counter does not say hello; just looks at you and glares at you; like he hates you and wants you out. Even after smiling at him and saying hello; my wife and I both did this he said nothing and just glared at us. Just like the stores in Mexico; this place is now just another tourist trap with the same little sweatshirts and trinkets that you can find at every other shop in town. Don't buy what you like right away you might go to the other shops down the street and find your things for cheaper like we did. We had several items that we were going to buy and due to our experience in there we just put everything back and walked out. They have a clearance section with no real clearance if you actually look at the prices of the same items that are out and the regular room no difference. Cheesy little holographic pictures of Bob Marley smoking weed in the window etc this place feels like a smoke shop not a gift shop. You know the original Eagles family who started this is rolling in their graves and is disgusted at what this...
Read moreOf all the stores near Yellowstone West entrance, please visit eagles store, located right across from the visitor center. Their snacks are the most reasonably priced I've seen, even more reasonable than the supermarket. They have The most flavors of Willcoxson ice cream and they are generous with the scoops. They have a wonderful clearance section, and their regular apparel is also reasonably priced. I shopped up and down the main boulevard and this store is the most comprehensive. The staff is super friendly, and will pull shirts high up down for you. They have a dressing room. I highly recommend you visit the store first and just buy all your stuff here. I bought stuff at other stores and I wish I had come here first. Restrooms for customers only, but you'll end up buying something regardless. The ice cream is worth it and grab a souvenir. It's...
Read moreThe store itself is full in the usual tourist fare. Something new (to me) was the soda fountain in the front. After an afternoon of shopping, my husband and I stopped by for an ice cream before heading back to the campsite. After ordering my waffle cone, I was totally disgusted when the young lady behind the counter scooped and handed me my cone - BARE HANDED, no gloves, no paper wrapping on the cone, nothing. My husband ordered ice cream that was too hard for the young lady to scoop. She asked a co-worker from another part of the store to help her. He walked over, grabbed the scoop from her and proceeded to try, while my husband and another customer told him to wash his hands first. He refused and walked off. At that point we told the young lady that we didn't want the cones and left. This seems to me to be a violation of the...
