I don't drink coffee so this is about the food.
The food was delicious. I am not a breakfast person by anymeans. I'm a believer in a good salad and some fruit to start the day. However, my husband loves it and he is british so beans make his eyes glow with joy.
This place is a litterly hole in the wall. It is a counter and a kitchen. The seating is outside. Something that I have come to find as normal around here. The weather supports it and there are plenty of covered tables to sit at and be joined by the white ibis as you wait for your food.
I got a bagel sandwich and what a sandwich. When I asked for not rocket (Arugula ) I was offered spinich which was a complete win. I love spinich.
This left me with a lovely bagel with non-american bacon (american bacon is streaky bacon away from the US), a sunnyside up egg with a gorgious orange yoke, avacada and onion jam with spinich). I also tried the fried cheese that is popular but it was a meh for me. However, I am not much of a cheese eater so do not take my criticisem as a guide.

My professor's suggestion to visit Espresso Garage came as a bit of a surprise, especially since I was traveling all the way from the Gold Coast with so many café options right here in Brisbane. But I was curious to see what all the hype was about, and this charming little café absolutely did not disappoint! I particularly loved the delightful bike-themed decor – it really added to the café's unique appeal and I myself am a bike enthusiast! Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed by the time I arrived. Still, I grabbed a takeaway flat white and was incredibly impressed by the coffee crafted by their barista. The service was incredible, making this a truly lovely pop-up experience. I'll definitely be making another trip up to Brisbane soon to test out some of their food items. Next time, I'll be sure to bring a friend...
