Miel Container — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Inconsistent and poor service. I ordered a serve of chips which took 17 minutes. I waited while three fresh batches of these chips were made for burgers. When it came to my order, which had already been pushed back behind other burger orders, the staff refried the basket of chips that had already been fried 10 minutes ago. They were hard, lukewarm and had barely any potato left after being fried a second time.

I’ve previously had a fried chicken burger there where the chicken was brown and hard fried, similar to the chips above. The bun had been grilled to the point that it was charred black and tasted burnt.

This is pretty disappointing as I have always loved their chips and did really enjoy the one fish burger that...

I used to rate miel container as one of the best and highest quality places to get burgers and the creativity put into the burgers was amazing big fan of the miso pork belly... I have not eaten here for a while and found out that it had moved to 1 William so I’d go to the new spot, gotta say I have no idea what’s going on here but the quality of the burger is not what it used to be, asked if you still gave chips with every burger get told no, so now i have a mountain of chips with my order I don’t want. Miel container are famous for burgers. Unfortunately they had to move location, because the old restaurant was in the city where one of the new light rail stations are planned. It’s a shame for a few reasons. I liked the old location, it had character. The new location is quite out of the way. I found it pretty hard to find. Still, the walk was worthwhile. I had the Shanghai chicken burger. The burger was really good. I really enjoyed it. I like that the chips had chicken salt.
