Tuppy's — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I felt I’d been cheated on the price and food I had this morning. I ordered a Bacon and Egg Burger, it’s $9.95. On the menu, it’s clearly said all burgers come with lettuce, beetroot, tomatoes and onions. But when I got the food, no veggies at all except bacon and egg in the burger. (Please find the attached photos) I brought the food and went to the lady owner and asked why. She said because all Australian in general they don’t add veggies in the burger, and if I want to, I should’ve requested…. Then I said , well, this is not what it’s said on the menu, and I come here first time for a breakfast, it’s not my responsibility to know your rule. And in general, I expect my burger to be what is said on the menu. But it turned out to be nothing but bacon and egg…. I felt I’m exploited. The lady owner just kept apologizing without doing any changes while she was busy with other customer’s order at that moment. The lady owner didn’t think about to make a compensation or give the money back. As I was in hurry, I just left the counter and went back to the dining table and finished the burger.

The waiter came to clean the table and asked about the service, I told him the situation and he explained the same thing what lady owner said….

They blamed it on me, and make me feel it’s my problem and theirs.

They both don’t speak English properly and can’t even explain properly, either. Besides, it took us 20 minutes to get our meals. Long wait.

I seriously don’t recommend this...

Update: Tried chips and gravy today. $9.30? Wow. They should have been embarrassed to send that out. Never going back.

Would love to give it more stars but that wouldn't be the truth. They are quite friendly if not super polite and I've never seen them be rude to anyone. It's a fast food place but the prices are a bit high for the type of food sent out. A lot of the items on the menu board above the counter cant be ordered anymore. Why? Dont know. The atmosphere is ok outside as its a nice area. But the inside is old and dated and there's lots of old hand written signs and aging furniture etc. It's not seemingly dirty but it also definitely doesnt give you the impression its clean and ran with a lot of pride. There's so many little things that could be simply and cheaply done to change the look and vibe inside. Not terrible but not making the most of the...

This obviously family owned business in central KPoint is a great breakfast venue. Located within a local convenience store, it's locale and outside seating is right across from the very busy Story Bridge Hotel.

I had the Special Breakfast which is indicative of a country breakfast in Longreach and it was great. The service and coffee was great as was the coffee.

This affordable and convenient Cafe/ Store you can pick up all your travel needs and enjoy the hustle and bustle of a busy KPoint without all the traffic around you.

This will be definitely go to breakfast spot next time I'm back in town. Thanks to the great team at this...
