Velvet Espresso — Restaurant in Western Australia

Stopped by Velvet Espresso on King Street for a quick coffee between meetings and it was exactly what I needed. The café is small but has a nice buzz to it, with a steady flow of regulars popping in which is always a good sign. Ordered a flat white that was rich and velvety smooth, probably one of the best I’ve had in the city. Staff were friendly and had it out in no time, even with a bit of a morning rush on. I went to Velvet this week for the first time in a few years (used to work close by so would go there everyday, even 2-3 a day sometimes) and had the avo smash. Firstly, was surprised that it is no longer $13.50 but now $16, as I recall it being very small in size, but good. It was still very small in size and this time only had one egg! Still delicious but a really tiny portion for $16. Glad to see I haven’t missed much of that place. Their coffee is good, but again it’s on the weaker side, a bit annoying considering...
