Stopped by Velvet Espresso on King Street for a quick coffee between meetings and it was exactly what I needed. The cafĂŠ is small but has a nice buzz to it, with a steady flow of regulars popping in which is always a good sign. Ordered a flat white that was rich and velvety smooth, probably one of the best Iâve had in the city. Staff were friendly and had it out in no time, even with a bit of a morning rush on. Firstly, was surprised that it is no longer $13.50 but now $16, as I recall it being very small in size, but good. It was still very small in size and this time only had one egg!
