Karen's Cafe And Gifts — Restaurant in Harrison Hot Springs

This was the best discovery of our Harrison trip! From the outside, you wouldn’t guess how beautiful and cozy it is inside. It felt like being invited to a charming English home and being treated to a lovely brunch.

The interior is warm and elegant, and there’s also a little gift shop with unique, locally made items to browse. This time we sat on the patio, but next time I’d love to enjoy the gorgeous indoor seating as well. There are also some nice spots in the back garden area.

Karen and the lady who served us (sorry I forgot her name!) were both incredibly kind and welcoming. One of our friends mentioned it was a birthday, and they surprised us with a cute cupcake, such a thoughtful touch that made our visit even more special.

I've become a regular at Karen's Cafe because of the amazing food, the wonderful service, and the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. It's not just tea and coffee served there either! There are a wide variety of beverage and food options, and I've yet to have something less than absolutely delicious. And all of that tasty food is very reasonably priced - downright cheap when you realize that Harrison is a tourist town. And did you know that there are crafts and events? This was definitely my favourite place in all of Harrison. This café is an absolute gem. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was welcomed into someone's warm, inviting home. The vibe is just so cozy and comfortable.
