Poor Customer Service and Misleading Information

The food from Ocean Sushi was pretty good, but unfortunately, the customer service and misleading information on their online accounts left much to be desired. We ordered the dinner bento boxes, which were advertised online to include Ebi Sunomo and Dynamite rolls. However, upon returning to our hotel, we realized both items were missing from the boxes.

I called the restaurant to ask about the discrepancy, and the staff member informed me that those items were no longer on the menu. This was frustrating since the online menu still listed them. After double-checking their Instagram, I confirmed they were still advertised. When I pointed this out, the staff member was dismissive and claimed the menu had changed, acting as if he had no connection to the posts. There was no apology, just a brief comment that he’d “tell the owner” before hanging up.

It’s disappointing to be misled by an advertisement, and even more so when customer service doesn’t take responsibility or offer a resolution. I recommend double-checking your order with them in advance, as their online menu and in-store offerings seem inconsistent. Based on this experience, I won't...

I stopped by this restaurant and tried a few items. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Clean tables and plates, the restaurant design is very inviting. I ordered the chicken Yakisoba, but it wasn't very successful. I can tell the chicken is precooked and then reheated as there were a mixture of some dry or tougher pieces mixed amongst some good pieces. They mix bean sprouts, which adds texture, but the ratio of noodles vs bean sprout wasn't balanced. I love noodles and these were average, not fresh. I believe they're precooked or perhaps packaged. The serving size was that of a side order, which made the $24 price steep. I don't mind paying that if the quality was better.

Loved this place. Our server was adorable, kind, attentive and fast. The sushi was generously cut portions, rolls I saw others order were large and the sashimi were small steaks of very fresh fish. So good. The tempura was crispy, a tad oily but the oil was fresh on a Sunday. I gave only 4 stars for atmosphere because it’s in a strip mall, looking in the backside of another restaurant.
