If you’re looking for the full authentic experience of visiting Clifton Hill, this is the way to do it. What’s a Niagara Falls experience without having Funnel Cake? Nightlife carnival style atmosphere makes you feel right where you’re supposed to be.
The lineup wasn’t too bad considering the time of day I visited. Lots of bright flashing lights making it look like a miniature Las Vegas. Always makes me feel right at home since I’ve been coming to Niagara Falls since I can remember. I had ordered the original Funnel Cake which comes with the powdered sugar waffle, a scoop of soft serve vanilla ice cream and two dollops of whip cream. Was enough for my wife and I to feel satisfied. We had paid $19.00. Obviously being a tourist attraction area, the prices as a whole are higher than usual but this is expected. The taste of the sweet ice cream paired very well with the tartness of the strawberry topping along with the sweetness of the whip cream.
I definitely recommend to try this at least once in your life. There are a variety of flavours to choose from but you can’t go wrong with the original. The staff were very friendly and didn’t seem to hate their life being there, although I wouldn’t blame them. Very positive and friendly attitude. Read moreI would give 0 stars. The girl working at the funnel cakes was not even draining the oil and transferring straight to serving plate. When I told her twice to drain oil first at strainer, she rolled her eyes and continue doing it. Later started arguing and said if this is not your order why do you care about it. I mean you are serving people oil straight from the fryer and then showing attitude about it. The restaurant’s floor is always dirty n messy as hell. God knows how much hygiene they follow. Later the manager probably explained it to her. I was still standing there and watching her and as soon as manager turned she did the same. This explains how much the employees listen to the Manager. Worst customer Service and all servers later laughing about this whole argument in...
Read moreWas here last night with my children. My 7 year old walked about 50 feet before he tripped and fell dropping his ice cream and bumping his cheek on the ground. Immediately started crying because he had dropped his ice cream so I assured him we could get another ice cream and let's get his cheek taken care of. I went back to the stall and the young girls there could not have been more helpful and friendly. They immediately wrapped some ice up in a napkin and offered to contact security and have them bring an ice pack if necessary. They also immediately replaced my son's ice cream without charging me again. I wanted to say thank you to the lovely ladies that were working last night, Wednesday August 2nd, and encourage them to keep up...
