Sushi and Oyster Bar — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

We had a late night dinner here after the fireworks for New Years Eve. Pricing is what you'd expect for a popular tourist destination but the food is decent with a large drink menu. We've been here before and service is generally not great but bearable as the sights are nice. However this night, there was only one waitress. She was fast and efficient but seemed to be annoyed and wasn't friendly at all... probably because a diner at the bar was giving her a hard time and was working by herself. It also seemed like the manager was assisting in bringing out the food but when we tried asking if our ordered drinks were still coming because all the food and tea were brought out 15 mins prior, we just got an abrupt response of an index finger wag and "YOUR...

Food is average.

We waited for our seats for a bit, which is normal.

We sat down ordered 4 dishes. 2 arrived.

While waiting for our food. The table next to us finished. Had new customers to eat, they were seated next to our table. Before received our third dish. They received their entire order ate it and paid before we even got our third dish. They had finished eating and paid for their bill. Restaurant should work on "FIFO". We watched other customers seated after us get their food before us. We only got our third dish after I spoke with the manager. Our four dish was also made incorrectly. We asked for chicken and they gave us beef. They offered to make chicken for us but would have taken even more time.

This place is comically bad.

The wait staff were super rude and didn’t actually know anything about oysters. They only serve east or west coast, with no other distinction.

Prices are inflated. Servings are small. Several items had a fishy smell and taste.

Our server actually pointed out to us that she wasn’t happy with her tip (10% on just over $200 for 2 people). She handed the receipt back to me and asked if that was her tip and if I wanted to fix it then sucked her teeth hard when I declined. I’m happy to leave a generous tip when service is even average, but she was so unpleasant I almost didn’t leave anything.
