Zapa Cafe — Restaurant in okres Český Krumlov

Horrid service being shouted at with average product that you can buy elsewhere (right across the street).

You can find same quality products right in front of this business and avoid the rudeness of the Zapa staff!!! Horrid!

We only went here because of all the hype we have heard of but their products are average and the hospitality is lacking to say the least! I bought a coffee with ice-cream while the two other family members did not (one was with an ice-cream from the vendor across the stree). Without being able to read 'the CZ warning' hidden behind one of the chairs ourdoors, one of the ladies inside came to evaluate whom was seated only to be shouted and scolded at because only 1 of the my family had bought a product and we were all supposed to either buy their products to deserve the right to sit there or the members or leave! The most absurd thing! She told us we cannot sit at their place and eat from the competition, but she never considered once to stop threatening and shouting at us, moreover she did not bring us their manager or owner to talk to. When I answered confused, the shouting only intensified! May I also add that the same staffer refused to offer us ice-cream sample while the shop right...

"Well, this is awkward. We can't sit here all evening, can we? The drinks are just too good to leave."

This is hands down the best bar i have been to through all my travels. Imagine doubling the amount of taste and aroma of normal drinks without it at all feeling artificial or too sweet. They use a lot of fresh ingredients where others would use pre-made bar mixers.

Don't miss out by ordering something regular or a single spirit, try the house's special ones. C.K sour and the one with plum liqueur were my favorites, and the one with peated single malt, cream, vinegar (!) and dill (!!)...

Place is beautiful. Great and cozy atmosphere, it's an old house and they haven't changed it. Really experienced bar tenders. They have their own unique cocktails. You can also have some other regular ones. Prices are average. Staff is cheerful and friendly. We sat in front of the bar. There you will have great views of how they prepare tasty cocktails.
