Clearly the old man behind the bar does not like his life and can not stand customers. The look of when we walked in was pure disgust, not sure if it was because we were foreigners or had two kids, or the fact that when we walked in we may have left a little bit of snow on the floor. Easy fix old man….get a mat.
Anyway we planned to eat a meal and due to the cold response we received I politely asked if we could sit down in case we arrived at a bad time. There were only two tables taken up. He grunted and pointed to a table.
I decided not to eat there as we had not received such bad hospitality since we have been in this beautiful city.. We have eaten just around the corner from the restaurant at Hell smoke Bbq and Meduzzy. The staff were amazing and actually made you feel so welcome.
Two positives for the place is the food looks amazing. The blonde lady who appeared to be serving food appeared warm and friendly and looked like she was the only one keeping the restaurant afloat. The other one was reading the comments on the negative reviews the old man leaves when you review the place.. priceless!
When it was time to pay, I advised the old man we would have loved to have stayed for a meal but he made us feel so uncomfortable and he just shrugged. When we walked out you could see the glow in his eyes thinking…..Yes another bad review.
He clearly needs to let the lovely lady that is serving food to be working at the front. The old man needs to get out the back as he clearly does not like anyone and is bothered by anyone walking through his door daring to drink any alcohol or eat any meal.
I am looking forward to your review old man as this is clearly the only thing you look...
Read moreStarting with the positives- good food and quick service. We are writing this review to let everyone know, @Airborne wasn’t lying, we were with this Canadian family two years ago. They just asked for no onions in the burger and the guy got visibly upset by no onions which was a little strange. I understand he has got a lot of pride in his burgers but no onions is not going to harm anyone. The incident left us a little uncomfortable. Judging by his Vicious replies I know he doesn’t take criticism lightly. The fact we still remember it from 2 years ago and still feel bad for the Canadian Family shows how the owner’s actions might impact other customers. And if he replies to this fair unbiased review, y’all will witness the owner’s true colors. P.s we promise we are not associated with the...
Read moreWe stayed in a hotel in front of Diversion. Seeing in everyday, while leaving the hotel finally we decided to give it a try. The staff is amazingly friendly and warm. It is hard to write a reference about the food as my friend and I being vegetarian did not have many options to choose from (in general centra and eastern European cuisines are heavily based on meat). I ordered the burger. There was no patty, just vegetables stacked in between the bun; thus it was not the tastiest veg burger I have had in my life.
Edit for the owner as I cannot reply: patty is a small flat cake of minced or finely chopped food, be it meat...
