Beer story — Restaurant in Prague

We came to this restaurant for lunch. Outside the restaurant, an employee asked us to come in, because the have very special beers. So we went in for drinking and eating something. The waitress came very quickly and gave the menu to us. But we just got 1 menu for 6 people. When we asked for more, she told us, that they dont have more. Our drinks came very quickly. But after that, no one was seen at our table anymore for a long time. We had to go to the bar and ask the waitress to take our order for food. After approximately 10 more minutes we were able to order. We waited for another 20 minutes until we got something to eat. Unfortunately 1 dish was missing and we had to ask for it again. We were a little disappointed about the food. Taste was good but not worth the price. The restaurant has a nice ambiance but the service was terrible and the food wasnt what we were expecting. I wouldn't come back...

After asking twice for a beer, it was still not served 45 minutes later at 22:30 when they turned off the lights on us while we were still eating and asked us to leave. I understand if you want to close, but in that case don't serve food 10 minutes beforehand! Then they tried to charge me for the beer that I had never received and it took 20 minutes to take it off the bill. They also claim on the door that they take card payments, but they don't. Instead they have an ATM inside offering bad exchange rates. Such as life.

However, the food was quite nice and the place as a whole looked good. I recommend the goulash, and the baked...

I have been living in Prague's Old Town for almost 3 years now and this used to be my favorite place. They still have nice selection of tasty beers, but the level of service has gone down quite a bit, unfortunately. The beers came not fully tapped, they were missing around 10% of the volume. Given their higher prices, this is unacceptable. The service was a bit slow and they forgot a few things we have ordered. They have stopped accepting cards as a payment. My friends, which came for visit, thus went to pay with euros and were given very bad exchange rate and a bad attitude from the waiter.
