Healthy Longevity Café – Restaurant — Restaurant in Prague

Really love the idea behind this healthy, macros-specific food place, but the execution during my visit wasn’t great and that surprised me! First off, really appreciated the fact that the staff agreed to make a cold version of their coffee as they only had warm drinks on the menu. But then, they seemed to forget what our order was and sent someone to check if we had asked for a particular smoothie (so far so good). Then when my food arrived it was the wrong meal for breakfast. I actually wanted the matcha yogurt bowl. They apologized and got me the correct one, but it was nothing like the menu suggested - it lacked the pecans, it had walnuts instead, lacked some of the fruits, the strawberries were fresh, not dried as shown on the menu; lacked the coconut slices etc. Worst of all, it was supposed to be a matcha yogurt but it wasn’t even green, I could barely taste any matcha. On top of this the ratio between toppings and yogurt was bad and I was left scooping pure yogurt by the end. Finally, the prices were incredibly high for what I had and I left hungry. My partner’s food was fine - he had the farmer’s breakfast which seemed big and luscious, so it might just be my bad luck with this one. Either way, I was very disappointed as I had high hopes. I was really looking forward to coming to this place and try the food and drinks. The Buddha bowl was amazing, very fresh and tasty. What really put me off was the latte, it was more like milk with a drop of espresso. When I expressed my opinion about the taste of latte, the waitress looked at me as if I have no idea about the coffee and corrected me that 2 shots of espresso is only for flat white🤦🏼‍♀️. First of all you can put as many shots as you like in latte as long as you can taste coffee and second you don’t argue with a customer! So they made me additional shot and then charged me 80 CZK for it, plus 20 for coconut milk, so whooping CZK 200 for a latte!!! It’s double of what Starbucks charges for theirs and you can get it first time right there. I am very supportive of small independent businesses but this kind of customer attitude is beyond...

Arrived and asked if it’s possible to have a take away order, I was reassured that it’s doable. I ordered 3 smoothies, 3 Perrier and 2 bowls. Once smoothie was ready, I was told unfortunately they don’t have cups for the smoothies. I was offered used Perrier bottle to be cleaned and use that ; to which I refused. Instead it was put in a ordinary coffee mug that later leaked. 280(£10) for a single smoothie that also tasted very much like powder, almost placed in a used Perrier glass. Certainly not again; better go Starbucks. 380 (£14) for a small salad bowl. Did not enjoy the experience or the taste. Above all, the price did not justify it in any way.
