(22/01/2016 15:20) Worst place you can try in Prague, avoid this place. Server failed to explain "special offer" handed out on the main street, that convinced us to try O'Che's down the small street. On polite inquiry to our bill being higher than expected, per the special offer, George (said this was his name) got very defensive, and started to raise his voice and started to talk down to us. On our request to lower his tone, and calm down, he continued to argue and said he was from another country where they always speak like this, Serbia if I remember correctly. He said very angrily we were the first, in 20 years, to query about this. Asked where we are from (South Africa and Russia) and continued to insult us as if we're not english literate, especially my girlfriend from russia, who in fact completed her master degree in the UK. After taking the abuse from George, it turns out there is one item on the menu, spaghetti bolognese, that complies with this special, 99Kč = Lunch menu + beer, all other dishes on lunch menu are priced higher. When we finally stated that we were more unhappy about his attitude to us, than the misstated special offer, he stated this was our choice, and didn't care about it at all. I would strongly recommend the owners remove this employee from staff, he should not be in the hospitality industry, and please stop making false offers on your flyers to attract tourists to your...
Read moreI think I could cook a better meal in 10 minutes with a camping stove and a spoon than the absolute atrocity we received here. I got the saucage and mash and everything tasted like you could buy it pre-packaged in a grocery store (or even worse...). Only reason I ate most of it was because it was a source of carbs & protein and I was hungry.
The sauce with the "spicy" burger (not spicy btw) tasted like straight vinegar or a bi-product from the petrochemic industry.
Cocktails barely had any alcohol in them. Long island ice-teas are just cokes with a lot of ice.
If you find yourself here: go for the pollo burger, it was the only OK dish our group got. (!!! EDIT: My friend who ordered this meal had to go to the toilet about 30 minutes after eating his burger to vomit, so it might also not be that good of an option.)
It's an Irish pub named to Ché Guevara with Belgian beer serving bad food and bad cocktails. This should have been our first big red flag I guess?
If the cook reads this (if there even is a cook in this place?), please quit or start caring about the food you serve.
Staff was friendly though so if that's all you care about...
Read moreAVOID - Worst "Irish" bar in Prague. My food was terrible, supposed to be Beef Guiness stew, there wasn't even a hint of guiness in it. All it tasted of was pepper, I'm sure the chef had emptied entire pepper pot in it, my mouth was on fire trying to eat it. If I wasn't so hungry after waiting such an incredibly long time to be served I wouldn't have even attempted to eat it. Came with 2 bread rolls that were hot and tough, tasted like dough. Ate about half of meal and complained to waitress when she finally came to clear plates ( she hadn't been back to us at all since serving meal so couldn't complain earlier). Staff were extremely rude and refused to offer any replacement or discount saying if it was that bad I wouldn't have eaten any., not even an spology! This pub is not at all like any of the other Irish bars we've visited in Prague, no Irish staff or Irish music, poor atmosphere, not authentic at all. Save your money and go around the corner to a proper Irish bar - The Irish Times where you'll have a cracking night, get a proper meal and be treated with respect as a...
