Pastacaffé — Restaurant in Prague

Low level of customer service - extremely slow staff. After we came to the restaurant the waitress noticed us quite fast and promised to bring a menu, for the next 5-10 minutes she was serving another customers and disappeared somewhere. Another waitress came with a menu (a wrong one), then came again with the right one, but for the next 5-10 minutes nobody came to our table to take the order. One waiter was walking in the middle of tables in the aipron chewing food (apparently on his break), chatting with his relative at one of the restaurant tables, while noone else was taking care of the terrace. I went inside to see why the waitress is not coming and there were 3 waitresses just standing and talking or starring. I believe this is a poor management + low skilled...

What a hidden gem in the heart of Prague! Pastacaffé is a cozy, low-key Italian restaurant that truly surprised us with its amazing food, warm atmosphere, and outstanding service.

We tried the risotto and the tagliatelle with pulled meat, Neapolitan style – both dishes were absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Italian flavors. One thing we really appreciated was their flexibility; they were happy to prepare a half portion for our child, which made the experience even more family-friendly.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and to top it all off, they serve fantastic Italian coffee.

A fantastic culinary experience at Pasta Café in the heart of Prague! We tried several dishes, and each one was excellent – the asparagus risotto was creamy, perfectly balanced, and full of seasonal flavor. The tagliatelle with pulled meat were tender, with the meat falling apart beautifully and the sauce complementing it perfectly. And the classic spaghetti aglio e olio was simple but spot on, with just the right amount of garlic and spice.

We finished with a bold ristretto, which was a perfect after-meal pick-me-up, and a well-balanced Campari spritz, ideal for a relaxed afternoon. The staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
