I was a tourist in Prague and this is not my local store. It was my first time visiting here.
Horrible staff - particularly the doorman and the lady with the iPad allocating SA to customers on 10 May 24. Having been a regular Hermes customer and having my local boutique in London, I understand how these stores operate and often things can involve a waiting time. However the attitude of staff can make it an either pleasant or very unpleasant and offensive experience. I have never had an unpleasant experience at Hermes be it at the super busy stores in Paris or any other city in Europe where I do not have a spending history. However staff are always nice, welcoming, and happy to answer any questions and show items which they may not be able to sell.
On this occasion I was enquiring about a non quote item which was on display. I was told it can’t be sold and I was happy to simply try it for size but the lady dealing with me was rude and condescending. Hermes need to do a better job at hiring the right people and maintaining a better image of the brand. Left a bad taste for me. I happily walked down the road and spent my money at Chanel.
Also very surprising when people living on commission and minimum wage get such power trips and feel the need to flex this on customers. But I chose to not put up with this as a customer who was going shopping in the luxury space. Half the joy of buying this is the experience. If a brand ruins that for me they’re not getting my...
Read moreI went to the store 4 days in a row on my vacation and treated very badly can’t even describe the treatment they are very racist. I have been to many Hermès Boutiques but never faced this harsh treatment and racism . In the boutique in Paris I have a profile and owning many bags so it’s not like I went there without a profile. I heard that the boutique in Prague gives you bags without a profile because they have many bags in stock .
As I went there I went through the clothes and shoes which they don’t have any stock in them unfortunately, I asked the salesman if they had any bag in stock he said yes but I will not give you and kept laughing in my face. I went to a different salesperson and she said you have to be a citizen so we can give you but they kept giving people from different countries bags and wanted to kick me out .
But that didn’t stop me I kept going every day and brought a shirt as in hope they will give me but she was acting like I’m getting the shirt for free and not paying for it kind of felt very racist and islamaphobic . The funny thing is I’m paying for the bag if they give me it’s not like I’m getting it for free and them lying about not having bags and every time I would walk towards the store I would see many people with bags
Rating of the service and store 0/10 will...
Read moreOne of the most rude disrespectful staff I have ever met. The security would not speak one word of english, told us that the boutique was full and then after customers left, they just lowered the garage shaped door without even telling us anything. Furthermore, i called several times and they just ignored the calls. Every customer should receive a high level of service and Hermes Prague has failed in every miserable way by disrespecting itself clientele, not training their staff to a point where they can’t even answer a simple question at the door. Relying on hand gestures in a heavily touristic area is not a way to communicate and even with those hand gestures, the information was incorrect and plain rude. This is just a review but I will be sending an official complaint to the main office because staff that is so poorly trained should not be operating under the umbrella of Hermes and lowering the quality of its brand in Prague. Never in my life, in all of the countries that I have traveled and all the stores I have visited, have I been treated that way. And this just prove of the quality of people in the establishment...
