We visited this popular restaurant with high expectations but left feeling disappointed. While there were moments of quality, the overall experience doesn't justify the hype or the high price tag. It's a classic case of a restaurant trying too hard to be "fine dining" and missing the mark.
Ambiance and Service: Stiff and Overwrought
The atmosphere feels like it's desperately aspiring for a Michelin star, but instead of coming off as elegant, it feels uptight. The service was a key example of this—so excessively attentive that it became awkward. When your water glass is refilled after every single sip, it feels less like luxury and more like you're being constantly watched. I've honestly felt more relaxed in actual 3-star Michelin establishments.
The Food: One Hit, Several Misses
We ordered à la carte and found the food to be inconsistent.
The Hit: The Raviolo was genuinely excellent—perfectly cooked and flavorful. It was the undeniable highlight of the meal.
The Misses: Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes failed to impress. The pork loin with tongue, supposedly a signature dish, was overcooked, tough, and surprisingly bland. The ragu with sweetbread also lacked any real depth of flavor, which is quite a feat given the rich ingredients. Even the peach panna cotta for dessert was completely forgettable.
The Verdict
For one of the priciest restaurants in Prague, you expect more than one great dish and an uncomfortable atmosphere. It's a pity, but with so many other outstanding restaurants in the city, I cannot recommend this one. You can find better food and a more enjoyable experience for a fraction...
Read moreWe had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant—easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Prague.
From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was clear. Every dish was beautifully presented and executed with care. While every course was excellent, the pâté stood out as one of the best we’ve had in a long time—rich, perfectly balanced, and truly memorable.
Service was equally impressive. Plates were changed after each course, timing was flawless, and the staff was professional yet warm. What we appreciated most was the relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. We stayed for over two hours and never once felt rushed or pressured to leave—it felt like we were genuinely welcomed to enjoy the full experience at our own pace.
This is the kind of restaurant where everything is done right, from the kitchen to the service. In our opinion, it fully deserves Michelin-level recognition.

Read moreCan’t say enough great things about this wonderful restaurant. Initially came here for lunch one day - and the appetizers were so amazing, and service so friendly we came back for full dinner. Once again amazed by the presentation, quality as taste of each dish. From appetizer to dessert, the food and taste was near flawless. Waiters are attentive and clearly love working here. It’s a small space with only 9-10 tables, so reservation is a must. Cost was reasonable given quality of the entire experience. Likely the best restaurant among our 6 days stay in Prague, and I carefully picked only the highest rated weeks in advance. Don’t know how I missed this one, but was lucky for a lunch pick one day with no reservation. Immediately reserved for a few days later and cancelled other pick. Could not have picked a better place for last...
