The pizza was okay, pretty standard in terms of what you'd expect from an Old Town restaurant. Hoping to grab a quick bite before a concert. Prices quite high for Prague too.
The problem was the service. They didn't make us feel very welcome and I feel like everything came with an additional cost. Service is 10% which you have to pay regardless of the actual service you get. The waiter also informed us we couldn't have pizzas without a drink, something to do with the system? Either way it comes across as a tourist trap technique regardless of their intention. They delivered the message with hostility. Had to pay at the counter which also makes no sense if we're paying for a service charge.
Wouldn't rush back and don't...

Tucked in the charming cobblestone streets of Prague’s Old Town, Pulcinella is hands down the crown jewel of Italian cuisine in the city. From the moment you walk in, you're wrapped in the cozy, authentic Italian vibe that makes you forget you’re not in Naples!
Now let’s talk pizza – WOW. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with that perfect wood-fired flavor that dances on your tongue. Every bite is pure bliss. Easily the best pizza I’ve had in Prague — no contest.
And if you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted by Domenico – the heart and soul of the place. This guy is all smiles, super friendly, and makes you feel like you’re part of the family. His warmth adds that extra sparkle to the whole experience.
Whether you're a tourist or a local craving real-deal Italian food, Pulcinella is a must. Great food, great vibes, and Domenico’s legendary hospitality?...
Read moreOn Saturday's evening we decided to have a small, quick dinner at this place. The food was delicious, we took one pizza margherita for two people and it's safe to say we were satisfied. However, the service was not as pleasant, not to mention the mandatory 10% tip, which I could understand if the service was any better. For starters, all of the waiters were in a rush, which would be fine; as I noticed there were many people seated, and they had a lot of work to do. One bad experience that stood out the most, was actually when we asked the waiter for the bill. He took off almost running, and after he came back, he said nothing but literally threw the bill on our table. If it was possible, we would not tip at all, as this dinner has been ruined by the careless staff. I hope you can improve the service for the future, cause I believe that expecting a tip after all of this was...
