I want to be honest and say that I have been satisfied with the onigiri and their other tapas dishes in the past, but there was one occasion when the filling in the onigiri wasn’t properly filled, and of course, it's disappointing when you go all the way to Kodbyen to enjoy an onigiri, only to be met with disappointment. However, I contacted the place and described my experience, and they received the feedback. But as a customer who had a bad experience, I felt they could have compensated by offering a new onigiri the next time I visited. I bought some onigiri and chicken karaage and explained what had happened, asking if compensation would be possible. The girl at the counter asked the chef in the back, who seemed to be the owner. He responded that they weigh the filling and that they are always right, which is why I’m leaving this review. As a loyal customer who returns and gets such a response, one might think it’s poor attitude from the owner. It would be unfortunate if their standard was only high because they are newly opened, and then dropped after the hype. Hopefully, that won’t happen. But let this be a reminder that every customer...
Read more🍙Onigiri and karaage here are simply heavenly which is why I struggled to post review🥢because this place is already way too popular and onigiri would run out regularly before I can reach the place after work🍙but effort deserves to be recognised and good things become better when shared🥢
🍗Karaage is priced at an unbelievable 10dkk a piece at its highest quality🥢Most fragrant and perfectly seasoned and juiciest and invites you to a taste of Japan without the long flight🇯🇵
🍙But I honestly hope that everyone gets to try the Onigiri🍙because not only are the Onigiri delicious beyond words, but they give you a sense that this is delicacy prepared wholeheartedly with the wish to lighten up your dark days🇯🇵it is so delightful to eat it warms your whole being from within
🍙I do hope that I get the chance to try the whole range of Onigiri despite expecting this place to get even more popular and I have an even lower chance of getting any Onigiri by the time I get there after work🍙but this is taste that deserves to...
Read moreComé RICE Kitchen is one of those spots that feels like a hidden gem in Copenhagen (although I doubt it's still hidden to most people who like food). Prices here are refreshingly affordable compared to most of the city, which makes it easy to come back without feeling guilty. The food is all about comfort and flavor. The sashimi is fresh and clean, the kind that makes you pause for a second before the next bite. The onigiri is simple but satisfying, and the karaage hits that perfect balance of crispy outside and juicy inside. Tempura is light, not greasy, and pairs well with everything else on the table. If you’re craving rice and Asian flavors, this is the place to be. It’s tucked into the Meat Packing District, which is already buzzing with great food options, so you can easily make a night of it by hopping around. But honestly, Comé RICE Kitchen holds its own and is worth a...
