Unfair Pricing and Hidden Charges
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
I recently visited this restaurant and was appalled by their unfair pricing practices. Upon receiving the bill, I noticed an additional 3 euros added to my total, simply because I chose to pay by card instead of cash. This is unacceptable and feels like a deceptive way to lure customers with lower prices and then hit them with hidden charges. The guy who did that was speaking in Hindi.
As a customer, I expect transparency and fairness in pricing. Charging extra for card payments is not only frustrating but also raises concerns about the legality of their business practices. If this is the Estonian system, it still doesn't justify making customers feel cheated and taken advantage of.
I urge the management to reconsider their pricing policy and treat all customers equally, regardless of their preferred payment method. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others due to their questionable pricing practices. It's crucial for businesses to prioritize customer trust and satisfaction, and this experience has left me disappointed and dissatisfied.
I ordered three items:
Chicken biriyani Tandoori chicken Shawarma
We ate the Shawarma at the restaurant, and the Biriyani and Tandoori were for take-out. At the counter, an older gentleman speaking in Hindi informed us that the card payment would be 33 Euro, while the cash payment would only be 30 Euro. and we paid 33 euro in cash. I could show you the payment details if needed. Around 20:47 I...
Read moreSo, right of the bat I must confess: I must have a good lavash. It's a part of me, and I must have it. That being said, whenever I think lavash I think Damak. Super tasty, affordable, fast in-house and solid via Wolt. I like the chicken, but you have options as well. Also, delivery isn't in styrofoam containers which is massive in my book, a sure way to lose stars. Clean restaurant and knowledgeable staff. My one recommendation is to get a bigger screen and play all the Liverpool football matches but you know that's my opinion and says nothing about the quality of this operation. Damak got it right, has a great location and provides a great tasting meal every time. Great addition to the Tallinn dining scene. Well...
Read moreGood kebab, probably best in Tallinn but still worse then all other countries in Europe i have visited and enjoyed a kebab in. But if you crave kebab in Tallinn this will do the trick.
great prices, big portions, great staff a bit dry and tasteless döner, fries are most likely not salted, sauce is also a bit tasteless. But then again most food places in Estonia are afraid of spices. Portions are smaller when ordering from wolt.
If you order from Wolt i recommend something with the chicken meat as the döner usually isnt the best...
