La Coquelle — Restaurant in Bonneville

Hello, I don't normally write reviews, but this experience has been so horrific that I can't help it. We only visited the business because it was near the cable car and we were on a trip with a retired person with limited mobility. The service was disgusting. She rudely started yelling at us and assessing our manners as half of our party tried to sit down and the other half stood at the register to order. They had no regard for movement limitations, didn't care that we wanted to order and deformed the establishment to comply. The waitress commented on the limitation of movement by saying, that it is not her problem. In the end she skipped me and served only my colleague, whom she did not forget to remind that she had learned English because of us and that we should appreciate that she speaks to us at all. I am disgusted with the visit. I don't know if it's important to earn applause for learning one of 6 languages at one of the most visited ski resorts. The order in French disrespected the opposite effort and answered in English. I recommend avoiding it...

If I could give Zero I would. Waitress with tattoos was extremely rude, aggressive and no manners. Visited in the morning with a big group before going up the cable cars, then again in the afternoon. In the afternoon we waited 20 minutes until she started asking us what we wanted (only because we started to get up and leave). She then yelled at our kids who had icecream from a different shop even though we were going to order if she hadn’t took 20 minutes. As we left she even whistled at us and said “go on then leave”. Horrible service and attitude from the staff and the manager. They are very rude to customers. They give the lovely local people Chamonix a bad name. The restaurant was empty and the minute we walked in the staff was already unhappy to set up a table to for us because we are a party of 8.
