Kitchen Ter(re) is a culinary gem nestled in Paris’s 5th arrondissement, offering a unique fusion of southern French and Mediterranean seafood flavors. Helmed by renowned chef William Ledeuil, this establishment stands out for its innovative approach to traditional dishes.
The menu showcases a variety of pasta dishes crafted from ancient grains like spelt, durum wheat, and einkorn, sourced from artisan miller Roland Feuillas. While dining there I enjoyed the dentelles de cucugnan which featured a delicious homemade pasta with smoked eel and asparagus. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the cream sauce was delicate and delightful.
Seafood enthusiasts will appreciate the variety of offerings. While dining we enjoyed the Peche du jour, which is the fresh fish of the day. We also enjoyed a seafood starter of smoked fish ginger asparagus and dill, it was perfectly balanced. The restaurant’s commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients ensures a memorable dining experience.
The ambiance at Kitchen Ter(re) is both trendy and cozy, featuring electric blue benches, and terrazzo tables creating an inviting atmosphere for diners . The attentive and friendly staff further enhance the overall experience. They were very informative about the menu and helped us navigate which items to choose, taking into consideration our dietary restrictions. The staff is multi lingual which also enhances the dining experience.

Read moreRemarkable restaurant during my Paris trip! I visited 2022 Fall so it wouldn’t be the same menu but I would recommend trying the menu if there is similar ingredients on the current dish. I would definitely go back or try his other restaurants. I made a reservation for a lunch and when we got there the staff truly welcomed us. We chose raw salmon and marinated fish starter which was fresh and fruity. There are different kind of greens and fruits on the starter dish. I loved the large variety of ingredients. Both of them were refreshing, light, and appetizing at the same time. I have to mention that the color of their dishes are beautiful. All the colors from farm to table made the dish even more delightful. For the main dish, we ordered pasta and lamb. Pasta ingredients were not familiar combination which has clam, cabbage and seaweed. It was very fun and unique. I liked the texture of pasta. It was creamy base but seaweed and crunches on top made fun texture. Also, the lamb was perfectly cooked. It was chef’s special on the day we went and the staff recommended. It was a good recommendation and worth to pay extra for it. I cannot wait to try Chef William Ledeuil’s other restaurants. The atmosphere of Kitchen Ter(re) was more than peaceful and warm. Plus, his food presented his...
Read moreFantastic, memorable experience - cannot recommend enough. Arranged dinner here for my wife's birthday and the food was amazing and the service was incredibly friendly. Our taxi was cancelled and we were running late for our table so I (very poorly) attempted to explain over the phone but the staff were extremely friendly and kept the table for us. My wife had the tomatoes to start and I had the eel. Both were incredibly flavourful and the tomatoes in particular were divine. Main courses were again delicious - somewhat simpler and more one-dimensional than the starters, but still memorable. The dessert (Gianduja) was the best dessert either of us had tasted in any restaurant, plus given it was my wife's birthday the restaurant were extremely kind and brought out another (with a candle in it), so we were lucky enough to have two! The restaurant itself is understated and sophisticated, with a great atmosphere with no need for unnecessary music, etc. To top it all off, the prices are incredibly reasonable given the world class standard of food. We will definitely be returning, and I would certainly be interested in trying another of William Ledeuil's...
