Just Veronesi — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

From the outside it had quite a pleasant cafe vibe.

We sat down to a table but the staff took a long time to take our order.

The freddocino we ordered tasted like instant coffee without any ice. Our “beef burger” probaby had a plant based patty, because it looked and tasted nothing like beef. Also it’s price was double of the chicken sandwiches and was half the size. The chicken sandwiches were mainly bread and had very little garnish inside. The chips for the chicken sandwiches were from a bag and the fries for the burger were frozen (although this was mentioned in the menu).

We wanted to order dessert but we had to tell the waitress 3 times for her to bring a cheesecake. Even when we got it, it was a low quality cake that couldn’t be called a cheesecake.

All in all we had a mediocre experience, becuse of the poor service and the quality of food that was not transparently disclosed or was plain out wrong.

We wouldn’t return or recomend it to anyone, or at least be aware of...

We wanted to drink two cocktails. The espresso martini came warm and without foam. I ignore the foam but I couldn't ignore a completely warm espresso martini. Our other drink wasn't exactly right either but I didn't complain about it. When they remade the espresso martini, they brought it close to right (it didn't have enough vodka and liqueur). So they are bringing bad products to people who don't complain. I don't have an idea about their food. I don't recommend it...

Staff completely avoid eye contact and when you make eye contact, they totally ignore you anyway. Once they had to get past our table, I wanted to order and the waiter made some bossy hand gestures like telling me to wait, never showed up again. Finally managed to get someone else’s attention and ordered two beers so did the table next to us, beers never showed up for either of us. Hands down the worst service I have ever received, no...
