I’ve visited countless coffee shops, but this place is on another level—and that’s largely thanks to Meytal. She isn’t just a barista; she’s a true coffee artist. Every cup she makes feels like a masterpiece, crafted with an attention to detail and a level of passion that’s rare to find.

Her espresso? Absolute perfection—bold, balanced, and rich with subtle flavor notes that only a true expert can bring out. Her cappuccino? Silky, smooth, and flawlessly layered, with the kind of velvety foam that makes every sip pure bliss. But it’s not just the coffee that makes Meytal stand out; it’s her energy, her dedication, and the way she treats every customer like a valued guest.

From the moment you step in, she greets you with a warm smile, ready to customize your drink exactly to your taste. You can tell she loves what she does, and that passion translates into every cup. If you’re lucky enough to have your coffee made by Meytal, you’re in for an experience that’s nothing short of extraordinary.

This isn’t just a coffeeshop—it’s a place where coffee dreams come true, thanks to Meytal’s incredible skill and hospitality. An...

Coffee was great the male staff was absolutely condescending. Came in with high expectations to realise they didnt even offer simple slow drips..

The review reply below, once again shows their flaw in communication. The person who replied didn't even bother to ask the staff who had worked one the day of occurrence and jumped to the conclusion affirmatively that they served varied slow drips.

There were only 2 bean types and your staff even mumbled to himself when we asked to smell them

I reiterate 2 people asked for slow drips but your staff couldn't be bothered to serve that to us. Please check in with your staff first before jumping to an affirmation...

La Vid offers delicious beans from Antigua, but also from hyped Huehuetenango, and rarer ones from Atitlan. Camila, the morning Barista, displays not only genuine kindness, but also extracts impeccable and delicious cappuccinos, flat whites, or cortados.

Kendrik, the second shift barista, is also very cool.

Alex, the owner, is weekly roasting coffee beans in situ, which are also sold in small, and medium bags.

By 8.20-8.30am, all grinders, and coffee machines are perfectly adjusted to the daily highly fluctuating local weather. Thank you so much, as very few coffee shops in London, Paris, Scandinavia, or the U.S. offer such...

Came in today to try another cafe in Antigua. I have passed by here many times before. While not as pretty as other cafes in Antigua, there’s a cool vibe to it. And seems like the perfect place if you want to work from a laptop or read a book. The roof is made of tin so it was quite warm in the middle of the day, but there are ceiling fans and portable fans to fight the heat. I was greeted warmly by the male barista. The cortado costs Q17 which is vey reasonable in Antigua. It also comes with a bit of mineral water. The coffee was very good. I enjoyed my time there and would return.

La Vid is a true gem in Antigua! Their cafe miel is absolutely fantastic – easily one of the best I've had. Beyond the delicious coffee, the service is great; the staff are so friendly and welcoming. A special highlight is "Refuel" on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. It's a wonderful experience with music, worship, and the Word. It adds such a unique and uplifting dimension to an already excellent coffee shop. Whether you're looking for a great cup of coffee or a spiritual pick-me-up, La Vid is definitely worth a visit!
