The first and last nice person we met was the hostess who sat us down, then we had to ask for service as no one would approach our table, the waiter served the wrong food, we could not ask for water, they served roasted potatoes with our rib eye steak instead of mashed potato which we ordered, then we mentioned this to the waiter who never brought the ordered side dish we even mentioned this to the manager (!) who did nothing about it, since we could not find a waiter to serve us water the manager was nice enough to get us a bottle... then again we had to wait to be served dessert, never asked us if we want coffee.... the waiters and the manager spent unusually long time chatting with two other tables near us meanwhile we could could get service, our pepper shaker did not work and I had to stand up and look for another one on a nearby table to exchange it ... the waiter in the end mentioned we received a free bottle of water, well thank you but its an insult, they ruined a special occasion for us by completely neglecting us, we don't need a free water we needed attentive service and not to be ignored , for which you pay 14% by the way... Overall very, very poor service we will never return the food is good on the...

I would like to complain about the poor customer service/ service mind at the reception of this restaurant at this so-called 4.5 stars hotel.

28/10 at 19:00 we went to the restaurant and as we planned to have our special dinner.

When we arrived and waited patiently. No one was at the reception and willing to attend to service /to welcome. (3-4mins waiting )

Then one guy approached to ask us what we looking for, then we told that we want to know what kind of foods /service they have.

The first guy asked us to waited and another guy came asked us what we want and we then told him that we wanted to know what kind of foods or theme of restaurant they have the service.

Then then guy just only pointed to the menu and talking with us with horrible service mind. (No any explanation for foods/service)

We then asked him if they have any special menu or any kind of buffet that we were looking for . He just said no and pointed again on the menu (which this we can read by ourself)

For my first experience this such a horrible service mind / first impression of customer at this restaurant.

I visited many Marriott hotels in many different countries and at this hotel in Budapest , I could say it the most horrible to...

I booked a table for 9:15 am for the breakfast. "welcoming ladies" were a lil bit strange that they didnt reserve any table. When i asked table number, she asked for the moment and then showed dirty table!! Btw, she was not aware of uncleanless of the table. When i warned her and asked for clean table, she got one of tissue and started to dust bread crumbs etc to the chair and left and right side of the table! And without bringing any menu and/or intruduction she left. We found one of the waiter and ask the concept (since it is Marriott Hotels Restaurant as well), he only touched my shoulder and said "enjoy Madam" instead of giving response to my question. Anyway, one of guy understood our situation and explain the breakfast type and we can also enjoy open buffet part etc etc. Next time i will not prefer this place especially on Sundays! Their capacity is not enough to handle weekends. Prices are not fair when i compare with the service. Actually cheese, egg etc mostly same in everywhere. In order to get qualified services we are paying more. But for this place, never...

We went for the Sunday All You Can Eat Brunch and it was worth it. The restaurant itself is part of the Marriott Hotel and elegant and luxurious. All staff speaks English. The starters and desserts had a huge variation and selection really something for everyone. The mains didn’t have quite as much of a selection however but the amount of the other food for sure made up for it. Unlimited drinks - wine, soft drinks, coffee etc. There’s also a room for kids to play with caregivers having an eye on them. The only downside was: no one checked our vaccination cards as we sat inside and no one else was asked for it either. Non of the guest where asked to wear masks, especially when handling foods. There was no disinfectant provided . A bit tricky during the current situation. Half the food didn’t have a card with what it actually is, so it was just playing with your luck if it’s something you actually like. Service Tax is added at the end.

We spent August 20th with friends there and had a wonderful evening. Booked terrace places. The view from there for the fireworks was amazing! Dinner was offered as buffet. Great selection of starters - classical ones like beef tartar baguettes, goose liver, ham but also delicious salmon and shrimps, not to forget the yummy mango chickpea and quinoa salad. As those ones were so tasty not so much more of the mains (except little Angus beef burger) and desserts would find their way into our stomachs. As early bookers we paid 16.000Ft p. P. including drinks (sparkling, wine, water). Service was very friendly! So totally enjoyed that evening event and will come back for sure! PS. Have visited DNB also already for lunch as a group and with kids. Food and service were great! Definitely recommended!

I have had a late lunch here with my mother, we have ordered two dishes. One chicken paprikash and one tenderloin carpaccio. Both food was not eatable. I have sent them back due to the fact that the chicken with paprikash was a way like chicken had nothing to do with real chicken paprikash. We are Hungarians I have ate this food several times never this bad taste. Beef carpaccio felt not fresh and had taste like expired. I also asked two times to change bread for me, which was in late probably forgotten. I had to pay eveything after I have had said it’s not eatables. They have offered free coffee… after charge 40€. I do not recommend the place! Overpriced and really bad taste with barely mediocre service.
