Three weeks before my visit i made a reservation for the white salon which was confirmed. 4 hours before my reservation i got a reminder per mail to not forget my reservation. I arrived 20 minutes to early. First they struggled to find my reservation. The waitress Vivienne told us she find it and we should wait. 30 minutes later other guest were seated and i have to call the waiter again cause they forget us. But this time it was another waiter and i have to show her my reservation again. After a while we were seated in the back of the salon and not at the balcony. As im aksing the waiter they told me the balcony are full. The third waiter came und i ask her again about the balcony place cause i saw three empty tables as i walked around. The place we got was also show to a pair of „walk in“ guest who didnt want the table and leave cause it is in the back of the salon. I aksed the third waiter if we could change place. She told me that she have another three reservation and that the table are only for reservation. I told her that i also have a reservation. She told me that she will check again and was irritated that i have an reservation. After a while the first waitress Vivienne appeard. She told me the same thing, that the other tables are reserved. I asked here if the point of the reservation was not to get a balcony seat. She just told me no it is for all the places in the white salon. Till today i didnt understand where the other guest does their reservation that they keep them a table at the balcony but for my reservation not. The part we were sitting were empty so i also didnt understand why i have to wait 30 minutes for an empty table/empty back salon. She asked me if a was a hotel guest and there was no more coming. It was clearly a mistake in the system. The struggle to find my reservation, forget to place us and lying to us that everything is normal. We are all human, a mistake can always happen, but just be honest and dont lie. The food was amazing. The venue is mesmerizing, the interior cannot be described, I could look at the ceiling all night. The staff is wonderful, nice and well informed and passionate about their work and they truly want to make the evening special. There was a sense of pride that I really appreciated. A pride in the restaurant, the regional wines, the well prepared dishes of local cuisine. Everything is made perfect by the talented pianist playing the entire night.

When we asked to wait for a table upstairs, we were told it was “reserved only,” even though according to their own policy tables before dinner are first-come, first-served. After long discussions, the staff nervously suggested we could wait another 1–1.5 hours in line.
Service was rude, coffee arrived cold, and the food was overpriced. On top of that, they even added a separate charge for the musicians — instead of simply including it in the already inflated prices.
