Engagement Party in the Whisky Room!

We would like to start off and say a massive thank you to you and the team for a perfectly executed night! Your facilities and team were 10/10 in all areas. We would like to thank the two bar staff on duty, Rafael and Tom for the excellent service they carried out throughout the whole evening. We would also like to thank Paul, the GM for the comp’d bottle of Moet! It was not expected and set off the evening in a classy fashion. After talking to all our guests, they all agreed that the venue, specifically the whiskey room, was a perfect size for the group booking (about 40 people)! It was very clean with easy access to the toilets and smoking area out the back. Carrying on with the shout outs…..Shannan ensured that the booking went very smoothly and you are very lucky to have her work for you. After talking to the team, we understood she’s new to her position and if we didn’t know any better, we would have assumed she was part of the company for years with her demonstration of knowledge and professionalism! Shannan was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the very first steps of the booking, which definitely swayed our way of choosing this location for the engagement party!! Also, we would like to thank, Lisa, the head of marketing. Again, super friendly and very professional. We bumped into her on the stairs at the back of the venue and randomly got chatting. She’s a great character with huge charisma! Finally, to wrap up the shoutouts, we would like to thank Tang for helping us retrieve the engagement gifts! He was very attentive and ensured we got every last one. Our friend even lost his jumper and house keys and Tang was able to find them for us in minutes! Again, he’s a great character and had great banter with us on “day 2” (hungover and collecting presents haha). Thank you so so much,

The “newly...

Fantastic experience at 37 Dawson Street! The atmosphere is electric, with a vibrant yet cozy vibe that's perfect for any occasion. I was there for a birthday bash, and the charm of the place added so much to our celebration. The cocktail menu is impressive – the bartenders are magicians who can whip up any concoction you desire.

The décor is a visual feast, with eclectic and whimsical elements that catch your eye at every turn. I particularly loved the shimmering chandeliers – they add a touch of glamour and whimsy. The highlight, however, was the life-sized silver elephant statue that added an exotic flair to the setting.

We reserved the VIP lounge for our party, and it comfortably held about 50 guests. The exclusive bar service in our private area meant no waiting for drinks, which was a huge plus.

Whether you're planning a romantic evening or looking to let your hair down on the dance floor, 37 Dawson Street caters to it all with style and flair. A must-visit spot for anyone looking for a...

The place = So if you go there, it is a place to go with your friends(4 or 6+), it is not a place to pick up ladies/boys, its a place to have a good times with your mates in different and cool atmosphere...

The crowd = A weird place, it is good for you who like the illusion of being posh like a queen or king and doesn't have a penny in your saving account(that is a good joke), but, It's still a weird place full of professionals, so I found the crowd / people to be a bit too much there (real fake actors). The crowd did seem kind enough, but many wouldn't mix up, just stare at you...lol...

Personal impression expectations = It doesn't really seem like an inclusive place, usually I dress like an everyday man, but if I go to somewhere on that level, I don't really mind about the prices, I will buy the same amount of products as I do any where else, doesn't matter where, I did expect 37 Dawson to be good, but it didn't exceed my...

Bizarre experience. First time in Dublin, the establishment seemed classy.. waited patiently at the crowded bar for a good 10 minutes, no gesturing or handwaving whatsoever. Admittedly got ignored completely and watched others get served before me but did not take issue to it. Ordered a pint of Moretti and a tequila shot. The bartender (bloke in the extra small shirt way too small for his body) strangely pours the shot into a wine glass, when I politely ask for some lemon and salt he violently throws a lime into the glass (instead of handing it to me like a normal person would). He then wipes the receipt across the wet bench top and scrunches it into a ball and says "would you like your receipt?!"... completely mystified and confused I say "no thanks".. he then walks off without saying anything more. To summarise, the service received was rather aggressive and uncalled for.
